dTube has an interesting token implementation for voting power.
You don't have to lock them in but rather as you hold them your voting power continues to rise. It's not like hive where you lose if you don't dedicate enough time voting.Another cool aspect of dtube are the p2p options for sharing content (Skynet, ipfs, btfs etc)
On the flip side, that negative could be a positive for hive in that it motivates greater amount of votes being cast.
All in all, think they all have pros and cons. I haven't looked into LBRY that much but may scope it out in the future.
LBRY / Odysee is also token based. It's far simpler than Hive from a content-user's perspective. You get coin for watching content and can give coin to your favorite producers. You don't get coin for comments which is a mistake in my opinion.
I haven't put up anything but test content but you have to pay a bit of coin for each upload.
The engagement seems to be pretty high and it's been growing steadily over the last few months.
