Before we’re gonna start, I will tell y’all first of what is the meaning of division meet. So division meet typically refers to a sports competition or event involving teams or participants from a specific division. The term is often used in school, or regional sports contexts to denote matches or tournaments between teams grouped by geographic location, skill level, or league classification.
The Ramon M. Durano Sr. Foundation STEC vs. Beatriz D. Durano Memorial National Highschool final game was set for Sunday, December 8th, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Despite a late arrival due to a sudden rain, we made it to the game just in time for the first quarter. The match was so crucial because of the scores that was always ties. The tension was very intense , especially as the opposing team’s supporters grew increasingly vocal.
Ultimately, our school, Ramon M. Durano Sr. Foundation STEC, emerged victorious! This win is huge, as it secures their spot in the CVIRAA (Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association) competition in Negros. The joy and relief on our players’ faces were unforgettable.
In this part they are sitting and talking about their winning and planning for the upcoming CVIRAA to be held in Negros so they are very happy.
After the game its followed by the awarding of all basketball players that got to top 3. There they are get the medal and taking a picture with their team.
We snapped some photos—one with our player friends and a player’s girlfriend, and another with my smaller group of friends who could make it. It was a day filled with excitement, and the sweet taste of victory. All the cheering and support were definitely worth it!
