Family Matters

Family gives us the consistency of life's utmost value and importance. Having good parents makes our whole being fully developed. Possessing a good foundation of character leads to a better understanding of oneself and others. I was blessed to have both parents who raised me well. Before I got married, I prayed that I'd be able to give my best to be a good parent to my child/children. That is why when I had one, I did my best to allocate quality time and effort to my daughter. Speaking of quality time, she kept demonstrating how to swim using her improvised floaties. I talked to my husband and suggested bringing her to a swimming pool near our place named Villa Fejuruba.

We departed from our house at 11:45 in the morning using our motorcycle. Our child was excited and kept on smiling as we rode on the way to the resort. I can't stop looking at her giggling with her swimming session very soon. We arrived at approximately 11:55.

With so much excitement, I forgot to pay the entrance fee. Haha. The in charge called us to pay for it.😁
Entrance fee (adult) - Php 100.00
Entrance fee (kids) - Php 60.00
The table under the Jackfruit Tree - 150
Total - Php 410.00

There were cottages, but they told us it's better to have this area because it's cheaper. The price of the latter starts from Php 250 and above. I was happy and thankful they offered a lesser price. My child wanted to splash in the pool immediately. Hehe

The unstoppable smile and chuckle of this kid is contagious. It's been a while since we did not go swimming. Every mother always wants her child happy, and I can see how joyful her heart is on this day.

Lunch Time

Before we went there, I cooked fresh scallops for my husband and bought lechon manok for me and my daughter somewhere in our place.

When it was time for lunch, my husband called us o get out in the pool. I convinced my child to partake in even a few amount of food.

After eating, like a model in the pool, the daughter kept laughing and smiling the whole time. It took us 3 hours to soak in the water. She would prefer to eat snacks in the latter if only it's allowed. At that time, the two kids were in there and chitchat with us. A 4-year-old kid asked me about my daughter's father many times. I told her that her dad was in the cottage. She said her father was at home just sleeping, which is why he did not come, and she was a little sad on her face.

I must appreciate my husband for capturing this perfectly. He's our photographer of the day. Hehe. He willfully takes photos of us. I can see he's happy doing it because we enjoyed it; much as well.

Oops! Before we went home, she requested us to play in the mini park. At the last minute, she enjoyed much.

Realization

My mind was agitated upon knowing the child in the pool was a bit sad when she knew her father couldn't come because he slept at home. As a working mom, I made sure to give ample time as much as I could. Moreover, my husband always thinks about quality time with her. Parenthood is a tough job. However, it is our responsibility to ensure their betterment.
