If there is something that no one can overlook in Split, are the many ice cream shops (and pizzerias too) that are in the city, it might seem a little out of line, but between the proximity to Italy and the holiday beach atmosphere that defines the city, these businesses are a more than profitable option.

You don't have to walk too far in Split to find an ice cream shop, you have them in every street in the city center and all of them overflowing with customers. Something that, of course, makes us wonder which of them are really worth it. This was something that not only I thought of in anticipation, to my pleasant surprise, this ice cream shop was also a great discovery for @jarvie, but we'll get to that part of the story.

post.On my first visit to downtown Split, before it was time to meet all the Hivians that were arriving in town, I managed to sneak away to try my first gelato of that trip. We walked through the narrow streets of downtown, assisted by gps until we stumbled upon the Game of Thrones museum, which is located right in front of the aROMA Gelato Experience Boutique location. An Italian style gelateria, handmade and natural. Point in its favor: the gelato is kept in covered metal containers, so we are on a good way!

We arrived at the right time, it was 5:30 pm and it was just after we went in to order our gelato that more people started to arrive until a line formed.

Si hay algo que nadie puede pasar por desapercibido en Split, son las muchas heladerías (y pizzerías también) que hay en la ciudad, podría parecer un poco fuera de lugar, pero entre la cercanía con Italia y el ambiente playero vacacional que define a la cuidad, estos negocios son una opción más que rentable.

Caminamos por las callejuelas del centro, ayudándonos del gps hasta que dimos con el museo de Juego de Tronos, que se encuentra justo en frente de la sede de aROMA Gelato Experience Boutique. Una gelateria estilo italiana, de elaboración artesanal y natural. Puente a favor: los helados están conservados en envases metálicos tapados, ¡vamos por buen camino!

Llegamos en el momento indicado, eran las 17:30 y fue justo después que entramos a pedir nuestros helados que comenzó a llegar más gente hasta formarse una cola. No hay que caminar demasiado en Split para toparse con una heladería, la tienes en cada calle del centro y todas desbordadas de clientes. Algo que, por supuesto, hace que nos preguntemos cuáles de ellas valen realmente la pena. Esto fue algo que no solo pensé yo con anticipación, para mi grata sorpresa, esta heladería también fue un gran descubrimiento para @jarvie, pero ya llegaremos a esa parte de la historia. En mi primera visita al centro de Split, antes de que llegara el momento de encontrarme con todos los Hivians que iban llegando a la ciudad, logré escaparme a probar mi primer gelato de ese viaje. Realmente me aproveché de los antojos de @evelynchacin, quien confió sus ganas de comer un buen helado, a mi criterio de selección y me parece que con muy buen resultado, según la conclusión en su

I was very excited about all the flavors I read on the list on the door, but the sales clerk told me I'd better read the little signs on the fridge, because at that moment they didn't have all the flavors. So I was a little disappointed to discover that they didn't have the Mascarpone with dates and nuts ice cream or the extra dark vegan chocolate, which had immediately caught my attention.

Following the sales clerk's advice, I chose from among the small posters, the Dark chocolate 70% flavor and also the Chocolate with coffee. A safe and rather easy combination. In my ice creams, chocolate is hardly ever missing, and when that happens, I'm usually not entirely happy.

In this case, the Dark chocolate 70% was really good, smooth and silky as a good gelato should be, I can only imagine how good the extra dark vegan chocolate that I didn't have should be, those chocolate ice creams made with water instead of milk, are the top of the line. The coffee one turned out to be lighter than I expected and the texture could be a little less grainy, the flavor was nice, but not amazing.

The price of the medium cone of two flavors was 7,00, a bit high in my opinion, but the truth is that in the whole city the prices were much higher than in Spain, so it doesn't make much sense to compare it. Looking in other places, the prices in general of other ice cream shops were more or less the same, so it is better to pay it in a place where they guarantee the quality of the ingredients.

Yo estaba muy entusiasmada por todos los sabores que leía en la lista de la puerta, pero la dependienta me dijo que mejor leyera los pequeños carteles de la nevera, porque en ese momento no tenían todos los sabores. Así que me llevé una pequeña decepción al descubrir que no tenían el helado de Mascarpone con dátiles y nueces ni el chocolate vegano extra oscuro, que me había llamado inmediatamente la atención.

Siguiendo el consejo de la dependienta, elegí de entre los pequeños carteles, el sabor de Chocolate oscuro 70% y también el de Chocolate con café. Una combinación segura y más bien fácil. En mis helados difícilmente falta el chocolate, y cuando eso sucede, no suelo estar del todo contenta.

En este caso, el Chocolate oscuro 70% estaba realmente bueno, suave y sedoso como debería serlo un buen gelato, solo queda imaginarme lo bueno que tendría que estar el chocolate vegano extra oscuro que no tenía, esos helados de chocolate a base de agua en vez de leche, son lo mas top. El de café resultó ser más ligero de lo que esperaba y la textura podría ser un poco menos granulosa, el sabor era agradable, pero no sorprendente.

El precio del cono mediano de dos sabores fue 7,00, un tanto elevado en mi opinión, pero la verdad es que en toda la ciudad los precios eran mucho mas altos que en España, así que no tiene mucho sentido compararlo. Mirando en otros lugares, los precios en general de otras heladerías eran mas o menos los mismos, así que mejor pagarlo en un lugar en donde te garanticen la calidad de los ingredientes.

This second visit was all the idea of Mr JarvieaROMA venue that I didn't have located, despite being very close to some places where we were the previous days. Jarvie told us that he had also tried the ice cream shop before and had found that the ice creams were very good, he made me realize that we were talking about the same experience but at different times and I thought it was great that we had agreed that this place was very worth it. who guided @honeydue, @jza and me to another

Me fui de la heladería aROMA con muchas ganas de volver, sentí que me hizo falta probar algún otro sabor, así que tomé nota mental para escaparme en cualquier momento y regresar a este lugar. Lo que no esperaba, es que ese ansiado regreso fuese de la mano de otros Hivians que decidieron conseguir un helado, luego de la cena que acabábamos de compartir en lo que sería el ultimo día de aventuras oficiales con motivo del HiveFest.

Esta segunda visita fue todo idea de Mr JarvieaROMA que yo no tenía ubicada, a pesar de estar muy cerca de algunos lugares en donde estuvimos los días anteriores. Jarvie nos contó que también había probado la heladería con anterioridad y había comprobado que los helados eran muy buenos, me hizo caer en cuenta que hablábamos de la misma experiencia pero en distintos momentos y me pareció genial que hayamos coincidido en que ese lugar valía mucho la pena. quien nos guió a @honeydue, @jza y a mí a otra sede de

This time I chose a medium artisan cone, the difference was 1.50 € extra and I did not regret it, the top of the outside of the cone is covered with chocolate, but also the whole inside, it is a super recommended option if you like chocolate as much as I do.

As for flavors, tonight there was no extra dark vegan chocolate either, but they did have the Mascarpone with dates and walnuts which Jarvie had also told us that he was able to try it before and it was very good. So I ordered that one and repeated with the Dark chocolate 70%. Now, this was a great combination.

The Mascarpone ice cream with dates and walnuts is glorious, truly delicious and full of textures, I can understand why it runs out soon in the stores and is that, they have managed to balance the combination of the elements so that none of them overpowers and make you enjoy the whole in every bite. I really, really, really liked it.

When we would go in groups to order things in stores and restaurants, the time to pay was a mess, so this time I asked Jza to pay for me while I transferred hbd to his Hive account, so this adventure also generated transactions in our blockchain. Very well done Hivians haha.

It was really fun to enter all together to the ice cream shop at night, anxious looking for a dessert after dinner hahaha that little time we were there was really nice, we did not stay too long because, besides being a tiny place, we had snuck a moment from the bar where everyone was closing the night with beers, it seems that only 4 of us were the only sweet tooth, willing to swap a beer for an ice cream hahaha and we did it with great pleasure.

As good bloggers, we took a few moments to immortalize the moment and take some selfies, I'm glad it was like that and that I didn't focus only on photographing the ice cream as I do many times, because I loved the outcome of the photos together, it's a super nice memory of this day and I'm glad to have found these folks who think of going at 10 pm to get ice cream before everything closes and leave us without desserts hahaha.

Esta vez elegí un cono artesanal mediano, la diferencia era de 1,50 € adicionales y no me arrepentí, la parte superior de la parte de fuera del cono está bañada con chocolate, pero también todo el interior, es una opción super recomendable si te gusta el chocolate tanto como a mí.

En cuanto a sabores, esta noche tampoco había chocolate vegano extra oscuro, pero sí que tenían el de Mascarpone con dátiles y nueces que además Jarvie nos había contado que pudo probarlo antes y estaba muy bueno. Así que me pedí ese y repetí con el Chocolate oscuro 70%. Ahora, esto sí que fue una combinación genial.

El helado de Mascarpone con dátiles y nueces es glorioso, verdaderamente rico y lleno de texturas, puedo entender el porque se acaba pronto en las tiendas y es que, han logrado equilibrar la combinación de los elementos para que ninguno se sobreponga y disfrutes del conjunto en cada bocado. Me gustó mucho, mucho, mucho.

Cuando íbamos en grupos a ordenar cosas en tiendas y restaurantes, el momento de pagar era un lio, así que esta vez le pedí el favor a Jza que pagara por mí mientras le transfería hbd a su cuenta de Hive, así que esta aventura también generó transacciones en nuestra cadena de blockes. Muy bien hecho Hivians jaja.

Fue muy divertido entrar todos juntos a la heladería en la noche, ansiosos buscando un postre después de la cena jajaja ese pequeño rato que estuvimos ahí fue realmente agradable, no nos quedamos demasiado porque, además de ser un lugar pequeñito, pues nos habíamos escabullido un momento del bar en donde estaban todos cerrando la noche con cervezas, parece que solo nosotros 4 éramos los únicos dulceros, dispuestos a cambiar una birra por un helado jajaja y lo hicimos con muchísimo gusto.

Como buenos blogeros, nos tomamos unos instantes para inmortalizar el momento y tomarnos unas selfies, me alegra que haya sido así y que no me halla enfocado solo en fotografiar los helados como hago muchas veces, porque me ha encantado el resultado de las fotos juntos, es un recuerdo súper bonito de este día y me alegra haber encontrado a estos individuos a quienes se les ocurre ir a las 10 de la noche a buscar helados antes de que todo cierre y nos dejen sin postres jajaja.
