Descubrí que el mundo de las setas puede llegar a ser muy "mágico". Si con mágico entendemos que es: sorprendente, hermoso, lleno de texturas y colores, relajante y encantador, entonces sí. Qué paz es estar en pleno monte, en el medio del bosque, con la paz de la naturaleza, buscando y descubriendo estas peculiares y diversas formas de vida. Hace menos de un año busqué setas por primera vez en el bosque (con un especialista) y me pareció que estaba bien vivir esa experiencia. Hace un par de semanas tuve una oportunidad distinta, por primera vez veía unas setas tan grandes, peculiares, y con mini setitas en su tronco, y te digo que me explotó la cabeza. De verdad me pareció de cuento de hadas, tal cual como las ilustraciones de los libros infantiles. Como dicen en España: "flipé completamente", es que fue tan hermoso olvidarme de todo, maravillarme con lo que estaba viendo y disfrutar del contacto con la naturaleza. Como mujer caribeña que soy, no estoy acostumbrada a estas actividades, así que es algo nuevo y "exótico". Distinto y bonito ¿Ustedes han ido a pillar setas antes?
I discovered that the world of mushrooms can be very "magical". If by magical we mean: surprising, beautiful, full of textures and colors, relaxing and charming, then yes. How peaceful it is to be in the mountains, in the middle of the forest, with the peace of nature, searching and discovering these peculiar and diverse forms of life. Less than a year ago I looked for mushrooms for the first time in the forest (with a specialist) and I thought it was good to have that experience. A couple of weeks ago I had a different opportunity, for the first time I saw such large, peculiar mushrooms, and with mini mushrooms on their trunk, and I tell you, my head exploded. It really seemed like a fairy tale to me, just like the illustrations in children's books. As they say in Spain: "I completely freaked out", it was so beautiful to forget everything, marvel at what I was seeing and enjoy contact with nature. As a Caribbean woman, I am not used to these activities, so it is something new and "exotic". Different and beautiful. Have you gone hunting for mushrooms before?
