Hello dear friends, how are you ? I hope you must be doing great. I wish everyone of you a good health, wealth and prosperity.
I woke up early today at around 4:15 AM, as I had already set an alarm. The timing for finishing the pre-dawn meal has been shifting each day, and since the beginning of Ramadan, it has changed by over 16 minutes. Without wasting any time, I performed ablution and joined my parents in the dining room for the meal. After finishing, I went to the nearby mosque for morning prayers, where many people had already gathered, reciting our holy texts.
After the prayers, I returned home to get some more sleep. Rest has been limited these days, but I managed to sleep a little longer to stay fresh throughout the day.
Today, I had to attend an important training session at the Government Polytechnic of our district. A senior trainer was scheduled to speak about carbon emissions and ways to mitigate them to help our rural areas become carbon neutral. Several officials from different departments, who are frontline workers in these rural areas, were also invited to participate. The session was quite insightful, and I learned more about carbon emissions, net neutrality, and mitigation strategies. Since the Rural Development Department plays a crucial role in the development of rural areas, we are directly responsible for implementing such initiatives, making these sessions essential for us.
Once the training session was over, we left for the afternoon prayers. Returning to the office, I resumed my work, as several bills needed processing. By around 4 PM, I left the office with the satisfaction of completing my tasks for the day.
Later, I had to visit the nearby town to purchase a few items. Moving from shop to shop took quite some time, and by the time I returned home, only half an hour remained before breaking the fast. I quickly made the necessary preparations for iftar. After breaking the fast, I went to offer the evening prayers.
Following an early dinner, I performed the special Taraweeh prayers of Ramadan. Once I finished, I returned home and called it a day.
Ramadan is a blessed month, and almost half of it has already passed. We strictly adhere to religious tenets during this sacred period, observing fasting and other practices with great devotion. It is a time of immense blessings, where people seem happier, and acts of charity increase. Performing good deeds is a key aspect of this month, and fasting, being a fundamental pillar of our religion, is observed with sincerity. Apart from its religious significance, fasting has numerous other benefits, and I cannot imagine missing even a single fast during this holy month.
