I am pleased to make my first entry to this community and welcome any feedback or guidance that will help me improve.

My last semester in college, I faced a daunting challenge that tested my resilience. As I approached the final stretch of my academic journey, I found myself struggling to make ends meet. Financial constraints weighed heavily on me, and I often had to sacrifice meals to allocate resources towards completing my studies.

I snapped the above picture the day my dad recharged my line instead of sending me money

Despite the difficulties, I persevered, fueled by determination and a fierce commitment to achieving my goals. I recall days when a single meal had to suffice, and nights when I had to rely on Garri (Grated cassava Flakes).

But in the midst of those trying times, I discovered a valuable lesson: that sometimes, it's in the darkest moments that we find the strength to shine brightest. I learned to appreciate the small victories.

I took these pics on the day I finished my final paper, what a relief!

As I look back, I realize that those struggles shaped me into a stronger, more compassionate person. I emerged from that semester with a deeper understanding of the importance of community and the value of lending a helping hand.

Just as I received support from others during my time of need, I'm now inspired to pay it forward and make a positive impact in the lives of those around me. Let's keep sharing our stories and empowering each other to overcome life's challenge.

Greetings brother!, and welcome to #tbt Thursdays. It is a good post to start in the community, as it is about sharing anecdotes from the past and a learning that you have left, as what you say at the end of feeling the need to repay the kindness you have received, that is very noble of you. In the future you could share more specific anecdotes, for example trips, birthdays, graduations, weddings, some event from the past that you have good material to share elegantly in the community. I'm glad you're here 🙏

I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project! Check out our Reading Suggestions posts!

Hi Hillel, it is a pleasure to meet you and welcome to the community; I can understand very well the sacrifice and effort you made to graduate and more when you talk about the way you managed your financial resources to be able to be well at certain times, you were a warrior and very strong, another in your place would have given up, but you did not 🔥🔥🔥

Sometimes less is more, I mean what you say that you learned to value the small achievements that led you to success... in the difficulties, we will always find the meaning of our struggles and our life 🙏❤️

I wish you more success on your way, it was great to read you friend 🤜🤛..... You Rockkk!!! 👍😎🔥📸❤️
