# TBT| My Unforgettable Trip to a Waterfall

Hello friends, greetings to you all.
I'm a lover of nature and adventure; reminiscing about this unforgettable day always feels fresh in my mind, and it's as if I should be taken back to that day.

I did my pharmacy internship from 21st March, 2023 to 18th March, 2024. Six months into my internship, I gave a suggestion to my friends to visit the waterfall called Olumirin waterfall, which is located in Erin Ijesha Osun State, Nigeria. It's about three hours to the city we are living in, we planned to go by the ninth month. The trip had to be planned for months ahead (we had to start saving some certain amounts of money for a few months in order to have enough money for the trip). We also had to look through our monthly work shift roster to find a common date at which we were all free from work. We also had to contribute money together to get something edible for ourselves to take along with us on the trip and also get gifts for ourselves individually that we were going to share amongst ourselves. A day to the chosen day, my friends and I went to the market, bought one kilo of chicken and other ingredients for the peppered chicken we wanted to prepare for the trip alongside some drinks and our individual gifts we wanted to share amongst ourselves.

Finally, the day came, and I was so happy because my imagination is finally coming to real life. I just came back from the night shift around 8:00 am. I went straight to the bathroom to start preparing for the trip; my friends were preparing the chicken, all set and done. We started our trip, which took us about three hours to get to the waterfall. We got there, paid for the tickets, and took some pictures at the entrance of the fall.

We went into one of the relaxation huts, changed our clothes, ate the peppered chicken we prepared, snapped some pictures, and then we started going to the fall. The waterfall has seven levels, but sadly, we could only go to two of them. The place is so rocky, with heavy waves of water falling down, gosh!! I love it. We went to the first level, played inside the water, snapped pictures, after a while we went up to the second level of the fall, to be candid, climbing down the rocks to get to the second level waterfall was not an easy task at all because we had to be very careful to avoid slipping but when I got there, I was hit with another wave of happiness we played and snapped inside the water for a while then we started preparing to leave, I tried to persuade my friends into going to the third level but they declined and I had to understand their reasons, they were really tired and we were already running out of time because we had to go back to our house that day and we will be going through public transportation.

We went back to the first level of the fall, took a few pictures, changed our wet clothes, and started leaving. We got back to our house very late at night, tired and sleepy. I so much feel like not leaving, but we had to. I'm really looking forward to another waterfall trip.
