Just a bit more north there's another area where you can see the really old Russian carriages, made of wood and really showing their age. I don't know if those ones are still used though. These ones in the post are. I recently took one of the Soviet ones to Borjomi which was a great experience.

I took another one to get here to Tbilisi from Yerevan but that was a sleeper train that had a bit more care to it. I think most of these ones are industrial.
