Around The World: Challenge - #44/5 EVALUATION (vyhodnocení)

There are photos that catch your eye at first glance. And then there are those that you have to think about for a while :-).
We have one of those today. At second glance, your imagination starts to run wild and you start to "invent" what you're actually looking at.

Six photos as invitations to six places on our planet. We'll seemingly fly around the world, but we'll only stop on three continents.

I can only say that photos of natural phenomena "conquered" everything else.
While it was "unambiguous" in the poll, it was very balanced on the Czech Discord.

When you add it up, you will understand what awards the photos won.

I will also make an obligatory note:

and the Sunday trip with ATW can begin.

@insanejane invited us to a seemingly ordinary, abandoned Jewish cemetery near the village of Puclice (Plzeň Region, Czech Republic). However, if we focus our attention on the central motif, we can “invent” a lot of theories why it is this way and not otherwise :-). The photo received a prize for participating in the competition.

At the second stop, in London (United Kingdom), where @cezary-io invited us, we don’t have to use our imagination. We can only admire the skill of the builders who built the tallest building in London, The Shard. The photo won the third prize.

As on previous trips, today we will also visit Iceland. @vaclavs has prepared for us one of the most interesting natural phenomena. The northern lights near Grundarfjörður are truly breathtaking. The photo won a special prize with the right to participate in the supplementary competition for the best photograph of the month of March.

After some time, we will stop in the USA. @manuvert invited us on his regular walking route to Kensington Metropark (Michigan). Here he admired the sunset from Martindale Beach. The photo won the first prize.

From the still half-frozen lake in the USA, we will move to the largest lake in Venezuela. @emiliorios invited us to Maracaibo Lake near the city of San Rafael de El Moján. The shot of fishermen at the pier, in the setting sun secured the photo a special prize with the right to participate in the supplementary competition for the best photograph of the month of March.

@ansoe invited us to the Irrawaddy River today to offer us one of the many views of the Inwa Bridge near Sagaing City (Myanmar). The moon in the sky adds a certain charm to the photo :-). The photo won second prize.

Natural phenomena, interesting buildings and something to stimulate the imagination. There is always something to admire on a Sunday trip with ATW :-).
