Reasons to believe in God (Part 1 of 2)

We live in a world today where many people don't believe in the existence of God, which is not supposed to be so. It should be that all people must believe in God, and the reason for this is because we were all created by Him. No living being in existence came to be by its own self.

As humans, having the mentality given by God, which is more than the mentality of animals, we must believe in God. Anyone who doesn't believe is said to be a fool according to the book of Psalms, chapter 53, verse 1. It's only understandable to hear a statement that denotes that God doesn't exist from a fool.

God described them as fools because they are not making use of their understanding. Every creature came into existence because of the existence of a Creator. Nothing has the ability of creating itself. The only being that wasn't created is God. Other than that, everything was made by a being.

Saying we weren't created by God is just like saying the computer wasn't created by anyone. It just doesn't make sense at all. The whole operation that goes on in a computer was only made possible because someone assembled it together and saw to it that it functioned.

That's the same thing with us humans. A being called God was responsible for our existence. We wouldn't have been existing if it wasn't for Him. Any other information that is intended to counter the existence of God is a false one, and we should not believe in such.

If we should analyze our whole being—our eyes, our brains, our human hearts, and every other organ in our bodies—and how they were perfectly created, that should give us enough proof alone that God is the reason for our being. God is the perfect explanation for our being in existence.

Let's take, for instance, the human brain. If you take a deep study of the brain, you would see that it is a very sophisticated component of the body. The way the brain functions is something that is really a mystery. Its ability to think on its own and give out commands to the remaining components of the body is just incredible.

God is indeed an amazing Creator. Brother Eli puts it this way: “We are created by a very intelligent designer.” Looking at the complex design of our existence, if we are being honest with ourselves, we just can't deny the existence of a supreme being, which is none other than God.

It's a foolish thing to believe that we came into existence by accident. We should try our best to be mindful of the kind of information we accept. Information plays a major role in what we believe, and with the wrong information we could end up being misled.

That's why I'm grateful to brother Eli because every piece of information he passes across edifies the people who listen to it.

When we look around us and see every single creation—animals, vegetation, and the rest—those are enough conviction that God exists. God bless you all.
