Welcome to today's teaching according to the following bible verses:
Matthew 15:36
ACTS 1:24
I Timothy 4:4

When Judas disobeyed and left the apostles the apostles gathered and find a replacement and they also prayed to God.
Prayer is very important as Christians and children of God.

Prayer is requesting from God or asking from God and we do this by communicating with God.
For example, when your spouse is sick, you have to pray to God, when praying ask for what you need at that time and don't repeat prayers.
It is prohibited by Christ to repeat our words when praying, it is bad as a believer.

With prayers and supplication with Thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.
Therefore prayer means requesting from God and no story telling, tell God that which is bothering you at that moment...

Also it is good to pray ,
For example before we eat we have to close our eyes and thank God for the food he has provided for us .
Even when looking for work we have to pray first .
Even when Jesus Christ fed thousands of people with loads of bread and some fishes he prayed to the father.

God will not forsake those who believe in him .
Some people pray only on their birthday or when they are sick or when they are in one problem or another but this is very wrong,
We have to know how to pray to God when in good or in difficult time for it is said in the bible pray without season.

Ever creature of God is good and it is to be received with Thanksgiving and nothing to be refused because it is sanctified by the word of God.
Anything created by God is good.
