The Bible gives an assurance to people who do His will. He assures them of things happening at the right time. We bring unnecessary stress to ourselves when we begin to worry concerning somethings we are expecting in our lives. We need not worry ourselves when God is involved.
There's an importance of being in the way of the Lord. We are given the spirit of discernment on when the right time to do something has arrived. Discernment is the ability to spiritually perceive somethings that the Lord is trying to lay in our hearts. This is very important when making some critical decisions.
No matter how important that a thing we want to do is, we are to wait on the time of God. Brother Eli makes us know that even the act of doing good, is possible by the help of God's allocated time given to us. Let's take a look into Galatians 6:10.
Gal.6.10 - As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
There are times where we earnestly desire to do good, but it may be difficult to accomplish such task. This is because the devil can hinder us from doing so. At this point it is beyond our power. We see a similar case in 1 Thessalonians 2:18.
In that scripture, Paul longed to be in touch with the fellow believers but was hindered by Satan. But at God's opportune time he was able to make the trip. Despite the fact that Paul's intention for meeting up with the fellow believers was for a good cause, he was held back.
He had no choice but to wait on the Lord's destined time before he could make the movement. In essence, we are able to detect God's perfect time for doing something when we are able to do things we long for with ease. We should not force certain things to happen.
When we experience some hinderances in doing some things, it is one of the signs that it is not yet time for it. At this point, we have no choice but to depend on Lord's time.
