What do we say about fake prophetes who teach people what God never wants us to do? They act as prophets and mislead people about what God has ordered us to do or what not to do.
This is what Bro Eli focused on today and he’s very right about it.
So many people call themselves prophets and come to the altar to give us advices about how to behave but deep down, they are evil people. Are we even supposed to listen to those kind of prophets? No, because they are misleading us and their actions, words and what they teach us in the house of God do not tally in any way.
Ezekiel 34:10 says, "Thus says the Lord GOD: Look! I am coming against these shepherds. I will take my sheep out of their hand and put a stop to their shepherding my flock, so that these shepherds will no longer pasture them. I will deliver my flock from their mouths so it will not become their food”
What does this mean? It simply means that God wants to deliver us either me or you from any fake prophet or pastor who lies about the words of God to us or who is misleading us in any form.
Sadly, there are so many people who call themselves prophets these days and that’s why a lot of people see church as a business. The more they do that, we more we continue to have fake prophets.
As for people like us, if we ever find out that there is any prophet that is trying to mislead us or saying words that does not tally with that of God, we should try pur best to run away from their congregation so that we don’t get fed by the wrong things such pastors teach.
The Bible says that by their fruits, you shall know them. When we are grounded in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, we would be able to discern fake prophets and prophecies.
Sure
Say no to fake prophets
There are so many people who are coming out to pretend that they are God sent. If we find them misleading us anyhow, we should stay clear away from them
That’s right
We should not stay under fake pastors
