Ah yes, Moraine Lake. I sit in immense gratitude knowing that arguably the most famous lake in Canada sits about an hour away from my house.
It's a place I have been to many times. Some locals say they stay "far away" from it being a tourist spot, however for me this is a place I never get tired of. Everytime I go, I find myself getting a new image and new perspective. The light is different, lenses are different- you never know unless you go try.
I'm normally more of a sunrise person over sunset- but this evening my partner and I enjoyed watching the sun go down over the lake. It's fun watching people's joy over seeing this gem for the first time.
Hope you enjoy some images of this beautiful lake! Would love to hear if you have been below!

I very much look forward to next summer when I can visit Moraine in person. For now though I'll enjoy it through these images.
Absolutely :)
I want to go to there
come visit!!
That last photo is just awesome (but they all are)!
Hey thanks so much! Gosh, night shots are challenging here. Lots of people. But if you can snag away with 1 shot then I consider it a win! Haha :)
😍
Was it you that made a post of ice skating here with friends?
Hello! Not myself :). Haven't been here to skate yet, it's a really long ski in. Maybe this year I will!
