A session at the WWII submarine base of St-Nazaire (Lightpainting on Hive)

in PHOTOGRAPHY [DAC]2 months ago (edited)

Hi everyone,

During the break we have here in France at mi-august, I moved to the beach to spend few days with old friends on the shore. It would have been rude not to stop at St-Nazaire and try to do lightpainting on the roof of the WWII submarine base.

I had this location in mind for years and it was really cool to do that as the weather was perfect for it.

WHAT IS LIGHTPAINTING?

Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
