Kavasutra is a newer Slovenian band from Nova Gorica. They have released two albums so far. The latest, Ta veseli dan, (in Engl. This Happy Day), was released at the end of May this year. Musically, they have been focusing on a mix of progressive rock, jazz and grunge.
They seek authenticity in their music and try to be socially critical, but at the same time they don't take themselves too seriously and spice it all up with a good dose of irony.
The recording is part of performance at MKNŽ, an underground rock club, Slovenia, 7.6.2024.
