Tofu Dumplings Soup
Dumpling soup is my favorite dish, I always make large portions of this soup dumpling and stock it in the refrigerator for up to a week. A simple but very delicious soup, especially made from vegan ingredients which you can easily find in your kitchen. So, to make these soup dumplings, I was inspired by my friend who wanted non-vegan soup dumplings a few days ago. He wanted a meat filling, but that made me come up with the idea of changing the inner filling of the pansit with tofu mixed with other supporting ingredients.
Tofu that is mashed and stirred with spices is very delicious, especially enjoyed with hot sauce mixed with broccoli vegetables. I made this dish for my lunch, but for those of you who want to prepare it at night when it's cold in the rainy season, this is a very suitable treat. Moreover, this dish can be served to various groups of children and adults.
So, for those of you who want delicious soupy dumpling filled with vegan ingredients, here are the preparation steps for making them.
Materials Used
1 carrot
1 spring onion
Enough dumpling skin sheet
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon mushroom stock
1 tablespoon tapioca flour
Pinch of ground pepper
100 grams of broccoli
Softened seasoning
2 cloves of garlic
Cooking Procedure
Step 1
Grate the carrots with a grater or you can cut them into small pieces according to your taste.
Step 2
Mash the tofu using a fork or other crusher.
Step 3
Mix the tofu with the carrots, stir and mix until evenly mixed.
Step 4
Then add one spoonful of tapioca flour and one teaspoon of stock powder, then stir until evenly mixed.
Step 5
Add 1 tablespoon sesame oil And also garlic and shallots that have been roughly crushed.
Step 6
Add the spring onions, then stir until evenly mixed.
Step 7
Now, after the tofu filling is ready, I prepare the instant dumpling skins. Add a spoonful of filling then wrap it in the skin and shape it according to your wishes.
Step 8
Wrap until finished, make sure nothing of the package is opened, because it won't be pretty if it opens in the sauce.
Step 9
The next step I started making dumpling soup, by boiling water until it boiled then adding garlic and chopped spring onions.
Step 10
Then add the wrapped dumplings, simmer for approximately 3 minutes. Well, you can also boil or steam it separately from the sauce.
Step 11
Finally add the broccoli pieces and stir until evenly mixed, the soup dumplings are ready to be enjoyed.
Serving Suggestions
The dumpling soup stuffed with tofu is ready to be enjoyed, serve it warm in a bowl. After I prepared it in a bowl, I also sprinkled chili powder in the sauce. It is clearly spicy and savory with definite warmth in this dumpling soup dish.
