Enjoying Warmth With Sweet Green Beans

Hi my dear friend, this morning it rained so hard. The weather was so cold. I want to eat something that can warm the body. I also thought of making warm food that is suitable to be enjoyed on a rainy day like this. Incidentally, the food ingredients in the refrigerator are already available to make green bean porridge. I bought these materials yesterday, but I haven't had time to make them yet. As we know, green beans have many benefits in everyday life as a source of high-protein vegetable food.

From several sources of health information, green beans are beneficial for digestion, even green beans contain fibre that makes consumers feel full longer. That way, anyone who consumes green beans can control their appetite so they don't overeat. This food is very suitable for people who are on a diet program because green beans can maintain weight.

Incidentally, I want to keep my weight in check because I feel a little fatter. That's why I made green bean porridge. Mung bean porridge is a processed menu made from green beans, many people like this food, including my husband and daughter. Green bean porridge is also often consumed by sports athletes because it can increase energy when competing in sports.

Here, I will share a recipe for making green bean porridge. This is a recipe from the ancestors of the archipelago that has been passed down for generations and still exists today.

Necessary ingredient;

• A quarter of green beans
• Coconut cream
• A quarter of brown sugar
• Pandan leaves
• Salt
• Ginger

How to make;

The first step is to wash the green beans with clean water, and then put them in a pan that already contains water. Do not forget to add a piece of ginger so that the body becomes warm when consumed. Cook over medium heat and wait for an hour for the green beans to expand. After the green beans expand, add the coconut milk, and stir slowly until evenly distributed. Next, add the brown sugar and reduce the heat to the stove. Stir gently until the brown sugar dissolves. After the brown sugar is dissolved, turn off the stove and pour it into a bowl. Now the mung bean porridge is ready to be enjoyed during heavy rains.

Very easy to make right? With simple ingredients, you can make foods that are high in fiber and also give you a feeling of fullness for a long time. If you are interested in making this green bean porridge, please try and I am sure you will be addicted to the pleasure. Thank you for visiting my blog. I'm Ismelda, nice to meet you.
