'Twisted Series' is a new adult romance with suspense, mystery, dark themes and steamy scenes (which comes with trigger warnings). In my opinion, I think this series is a fantastic adult / contemporary romance that one can read and get sucked in right from the beginning till the end. I enjoyed reading the series and I was super impressed with how Ana Huang created an interesting world where four young college girls with a strong bond of friendship thrived in their world as they got entangled with powerful and ruthless "morally gray" men. I don't know about you but my favorite color now is gray, you know what I mean, right?

Two things about the book The knight in rusty armor, which I have just read for the second time. The first: it reads in one sitting. It is a simple story, written in a pleasant language, without ornaments or discursive pomp; a nice story, which serves for the times in which we are saturated with ideas about new projects, saturated with the avalanche of communication about war, protests, infighting among politicians in all countries and all this ideological revolt in which a group has put the world.

I remember that the first book I read was for an evaluation in Spanish class during high school; my teacher, who would eventually become my favorite, sent us to read "Chronicles of a Death Foretold" by Gabriel García Márquez. To this day, that is my second favorite book, and the only one I repeat at least once a year. Years later, when I had become a literary person, during college, we had another activity, reading One Hundred Years of Solitude.

Haven't you started a book you think it would take you to one result but it ended up surprising you? Books that according its cover has not to much to deliver but then the trama blows your mind? Because this has happened to me, a lot of times. So today, it is a pleasure for me to share with you, this tittles that has with no doubt give me a lesson about not judging a book because of its cover.

The bedside table is the closest place to our bed when it's time to take a break or go to sleep. But usually, the activities we do before these relaxing moments are: watching TV, checking the cell phone and reading a book. That's why we always keep a good book or a couple of them in our bedside table, to reread or continue them while we rest or before going to sleep.I have a couple of books on my bedside table that I have not finished, but there is a third book that is always there. Why? This is a book with many motivational phrases and guidance to heal our spirit. It belonged to my mother, and since she died I keep it there. It is "You Can Heal Your Life", by the American writer Luisa Hay.
What is Hive Book Club?
Hive Book Club is a community made by book lovers, for book lovers. A place where the chaotic minds of writers may punch away words from their keyboards as they share their writing adventures. Where passionate book collectors may rummage through their stacks of books to share and review their latest additions. Outside of our regular curation process, we may create contests for our community to participate in, and earn even more from their posts. If you have a certain theme for a future contest you would like to see, let us know! Be sure to check with us frequently on our various social media platforms to avoid missing out!
How Do We Choose The Highlighted Posts?
For those of you curious as to how you may have been chosen or would like to be chosen in the future in one of these compilations: we scan through the community and read the many posts that the community members write. We then select four or five posts that we believe meet certain criteria and are worthy of sharing with the rest of the community. We aim to keep these selections diverse in style, from writing skills or subject matter.
Hence, throughout the week, the moderators will check the community and manually handpick the posts. Some factors include the post subject, post quality, engagement, personal voice, and general effort. If we choose you, or you happen to stumble across these highlights, please do check out the other posts we feature, and contribute to their curation and engagement!
