Saludos, Hivers. Hoy, 21 de marzo, se celebra el Día mundial de la Poesía, ese pan del alma que se reparte sin mesura entre los hambrientos de algo más que comida; causa de la belleza del mundo, en la fe de Roque Dalton; buscadora de amantes, no de adeptos, según Federico García Lorca. Así que quiero celebrarlo compartiendo con ustedes algunos de mis poetas favoritos.
Greetings, Hivers. Today, March 21, is World Poetry Day, that bread of the soul that is shared without measure among those hungry for something more than food; cause of the beauty of the world, in the Roque Dalton's faith; seeker of lovers, not adepts, according to Federico García Lorca. So I want to celebrate by sharing with you some of my favorite poets.

Comunidad Literatos por el trabajo constante con el que se ha convertido en un espacio vital para el encuentro y la difusión de los poetas, narradores, ensayistas y escritores de otros géneros en español, y a todas las comunidades que difunden, apoyan y proyectan el trabajo, en todos los idiomas, de los poetas en Hive.Por eso si quieren celebrar este día con buenos poemas, les recomiendo leer a @josemalavem, tal vez la voz más sabia y oficiosa de las que se encuentran entre los poetas de HIve. Recomiendo también a @isaomaroon la voz femenina en español más potente y creativa de esta red, en la que hay muchas y muy buenas. Tampoco se pierdan a @cantantecumanes, dueño de una musicalidad y un feeling propio de los buenos soneros. Y, finalmente, mis amigas (aunque no las conozca personalmente) @evagavilan y @sayury en cuyos poemas suelo conseguir mucha frescura y belleza. Caben aquí las gracias a la
I will begin, taking advantage of the recent celebration of the second year of our network, by introducing you to the profiles of my favorite poets in #HIVE, because in them I get that furrow of words through which waters and fertility return after the harshest droughts and reconcile me with the world, making it beautiful, as Roque believed.
Literatos Community for the constant work with which it has become a vital space for the meeting and dissemination of poets, storytellers, essayists and writers of other genres in Spanish, and to all the communities that disseminate, support and project the work, in all languages, of the poets in Hive.So if you want to celebrate this day with good poems, I recommend reading @josemalavem, perhaps the wisest and most officious voice among the poets of HIve. I also recommend @isaomaroon the most powerful and creative female voice in Spanish in this network, in which there are many and very good ones. Also don't miss @cantantecumanes, owner of a musicality and a feeling typical of good soneros. Y bueno… Para celebrar la Poesía, no hay nada mejor que compartirla. Por eso les dejo por acá un poema de Victor “El Chino” Valera Mora, que cuento entre mis favoritos y siempre que lo leo y releo (desde que tengo 14 años hasta hoy) renueva en mí las ganas de ser poeta cuando sea grande.
And well... To celebrate Poetry, there is nothing better than sharing it. That is why I leave here a poem by Victor "El Chino" Valera Mora, which I count among my favorites and whenever I read and reread it (since I was 14 years old until today) it renews in me the desire to be a poet when I grow up.

Regresará a la niñez o más allá de la niñez
Cruzará ríos montañas y llanuras noches domésticas

Shall think that it is snowing in other countries
Shall light and consume a cigarette
Naked in the bathroom shall she turn
the cold water or hot water faucet
Shall she turn both at the same time

Shall she dream that happiness is a voyage by ship
Shall go back to childhood or beyond childhood
Shall she cross rivers mountains and plains domestic nights
Shall she sleep with the sun over her eyes
Shall dawn sad joyful giddy
Beautiful body of a woman
That was neither docile nor gentle nor wise.
Image designed by me in CanvasDeseándole el mejor día posible a los poetas y lectores, me despido con esta frase del gran poeta y cantautor Joaquín Sabina: “La poesía huye, a veces, de los libros para anidar extramuros, en la calle, en el silencio, en los sueños, en la piel, en los escombros, incluso en la basura. Donde no suele cobijarse nunca es en el verbo de los subsecretarios, de los comerciantes o de los lechuginos de televisión...”, que no se nos olvide y podamos celebrarla siempre como es. ¡Viva la Poesía!… ¡Y a su Salud! Wishing poets and readers the best possible day, I say goodbye with this quote from the great poet and singer-songwriter Joaquín Sabina: "Poetry sometimes flees from books to nest outside the walls, in the street, in silence, in dreams, in the skin, in the rubble, even in the garbage. Where it never usually takes shelter is in the verb of the subsecretaries, of the merchants or of the lechuginos of television...", may we not forget it and may we always celebrate it as it is. Honor que me haces con esta mención @tupamalo , no sé qué tan merecido sea, a mi que me ha costado tanto reconocerme poeta y sin embargo la poesía es mejor morada, sobre todo viniendo de ti (que eres de mis poetas favoritos) y colocándome entre tanta letra buena.
