Have you ever wondered why we humans are often referred to as semi-gods? That's because of the power or should I say endless possibilities we can achieve with the power of our minds, look around you today, everything we are, every invention we enjoy today, even the ones that have led to the destruction of human in the past are all possible through the power of our mind. The mind not only controls our creative side, but our emotions, the actions we take, and what we say, are all a result of what the mind processes, the reason it is important for us humans to feed our mind with the right thoughts,
And how is this possible, what you see, and what you listen to, are like food for your mind to process and react to. Watch people who fall into depression, you would realize that it didn't just happen in one day, it was as a result of constant negative emotions toiling with that mind over a period of time before the mind finally succumbed to depression. As a parent, the reason why it is necessary for us to filter what our children watch or listen to, that PG13 or 18 usually displayed before the movie plays is all the purpose of not messing with their young minds, so they don't act on what they see.
The human mind is mysterious and very powerful, it is the channel through which we can achieve greatness or succumb to darkness. So it is important for us to know how to safeguard our mind, and also how to explore the power of the mind, its capabilities, and how far we can push.
Are you Mindful?
Mindfulness, I believe should be practiced by everyone, some of us don't know when to stop, you are exhausted at work, but you still keep pushing, depriving yourself of sleep, what about those who can't control their emotions, you break down at any slight provocation, messing not only with your mind but your body as well, you are always absent-minded, depriving yourself of every positivity around you because of one negative energy. Mindfulness helps us stay in the moment, know when we are stressed and put a stop to whatever is stressing us, and rather focus on things that make us happy, because when we are stressed our mind and body are affected, making us lose concentration.
Mindfulness helps us focus on positive thoughts, when we do, it helps us attracts positivity and push out negativity
Want to be something, Think it
This isn't just mere words, the more you think about becoming what you desire, the more you start thinking of strategies to become what you desire. These are the kinds of push our mind needs to stay focused, stay positive, and overcome negativity such as self-doubt, depression, etc know that you can be anything you desire to be, you can push your mind more than you think you can, to achieve greatness, and move above obstacles, only if you don't give up, we've heard stories of how the greatest inventions like electricity were successful after many trials and error, now look at all the advantage we benefit from that patience observed a long time ago. We all have our own unique strengths and weaknesses, and there are certain things that may be beyond our capabilities.
However, this does not mean that we should give up or settle for less. Instead, we should keep on pushing ourselves beyond our perceived limits, to challenge ourselves, and to achieve greatness. For it is only by pushing ourselves beyond our limits that we can truly realize our potential and achieve our dreams.
