XAVIERA'S BLOG: COME GROCERY SHOPPING WITH US

Last Sunday, my partner asked me to accompany her on some errands and pick up a few essentials. Turns out she had run out of cereal and nuggets. This isn't actually a story about a full-fledged grocery shopping trip, but rather a quick mini-run.

We initially planned to meet at Asian Home, where she had some inquiries to do, but since I was running late like I always am, she suggested we meet at Super Metro instead.

It was actually kind of funny how we spent most our time wandering around the supermarket, looking for this aisle, instead of actually doing some groceries. My girlfriend and I often wonder why we're always low on funds, despite knowing that 90% of our time together is spent eating out. We're constantly at the grocery store, fast food chains, street food corners, or literally anywhere with food. Although she usually treats me, I still can't deny that I tend to go broke when we're together.

She's healing my inner child by buying me foods that I couldn't afford back then. I don't nag her to buy me stuff, even though I'm not saying anything, somehow she still knows it when I want something.

The picture above shows her unwavering generosity and how much she spoils me. As I glanced at the marshmallows and Pringles, she graciously offered to buy them for me. Her thoughtful gesture left me speechless, filling my heart with profound joy.

After that,we went to the frozen section to buy some nuggets, unfortunately, we didn't find anything that we like so we just stayed there for a couple of minutes to feel the cold atmosphere from the cooler. She actually almost forgot to bring her cereal since we were both not on our right state of mind due to a very stressful week. No words could ever explain how much impact a stressful week could give to an individual. I was actually kind of sad that we didn't find the right flavor of nuggets that we wanted since she promised me that she's gonna cook for me. We wandered for a few more minutes and after that, we then headed out to the counter area to officially make a purchase.

It was already past lunch and my girlfriend won't stop telling me that she's already starving so we then decided to go to the famous Filipino fast food chain, Jollibee. We both ordered chicken but I wanted mine to be spicy.

She looked so sad in these pictures since she was starving but our order was not ready yet. We waited for a few minutes, and another few minutes, and another few minutes, and chaaraaan!! Our order was ready. My girlfriend and I were so happy.

After eating, she went over to my house and chill for a little bit.
