3rd Birthday Celebration of Rayan, My Second Child

in Daily Blogyesterday

December 18th is a special day in my life because, on this date, my second son, Rayan, was born. To celebrate this happiness, this year too, we all spent good time together and celebrated Rayan's birthday. As always, my parents did all the preparations. They decorated the room, went shopping, bought gifts, and brought decoration items from the market—all by themselves—because it was more of a surprise for me than Rayan.

The "Happy Birthday" decoration we put on the wall looked very beautiful. We added lights, ribbons, and balloons to decorate the room. Balloons are something kids love a lot, and seeing the decorated room, they got very excited.

The most special thing about this birthday was that the birthday cake was made by my father himself, with his own hands. He has a special recipe for making cakes without an oven. This is a big deal for me, and I really liked it, even though I usually get upset when my father enters the kitchen. But who can stop him? It's his hobby. In summer, he makes ice cream, and now in winter, he’s started making cakes.

Although my father made the cake, it was decorated by my sister-in-law. She decorated it very nicely and wrote “Happy Birthday Rayan” on it. Decorating cakes is one of her skills. The cake looked amazing and tasted delicious too.

You can see the kids' excitement in the pictures; their happiness was clear on their faces. As always, we ordered food online, and while waiting for the delivery, we had the cake-cutting ceremony. The kids were very happy, and I was even happier than them.

For food, we had pizza, which is our favorite, and for my mother, we ordered haleem because she doesn’t eat pizza. After the meal, it was time for gifts. Everyone gave their gifts to Rayan one by one, and this was all planned by my parents. The joy of opening gifts is unmatched, especially for kids. We sat together and opened the gifts, which included toys, clothes, and watches for all the kids. My parents planned it so well—salute to them!

Rayan’s birthday celebrations didn’t end here. On December 25th, my elder brother celebrated his birthday again because he couldn’t join us on the 18th. He brought gifts too, and we all had dinner together. This time, we didn’t have home-cooked food but ordered online again. We had pizza, haleem, and my brother ordered nihari for himself and my father. This turned into double celebrations! The kids enjoyed it, and so did we.

These are the moments that stay memorable, and the pictures keep these memories alive. Such moments remind me of my childhood because my mother and father always planned special occasions like this, which we celebrated and enjoyed together. They’ve kept this tradition alive till now. It’s all because of my parents, and I pray that we continue celebrating special days like this together and stay happy.
