Hola, Queridos Hivers!

Hello, Dear Hivers!
After spending a few days wandering the streets of Cumaná, I'm finally bringing you Margarita 3!

After enjoying the trip, the facilities, the island, and the mini-concert I gave for residents from all over the country, the moment I was most looking forward to arrived: the visit to the Virgin of the Valley.

My mom and I arranged with a friend who lives on Margarita to take us to El Valle del Espíritu Santo, where the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Valley is located.
So we got up early, got ready, ate something, and around midday we left!

The moment we got out of the car and set foot in El Valle, a young woman was already giving us small candles, little pictures of the Virgin, and lending us a lighter to light them. A wonderful welcome.

She explained that we could go inside the church to see the Virgin, but that the candles were lit elsewhere, in a grotto.
With that in mind, we headed towards the church and went inside.

There were only a few people there, some sitting on benches, and others standing in front of the image of Our Lady of the Valley.
We slowly made our way closer, and when I saw the Virgin, I felt something very special. I felt as if she were waiting for me, as if she were truly watching me, even though the image is looking down. I felt like I was visiting a grandmother after a long time; it was a beautiful feeling, I had never experienced anything like it.

I proceeded to fulfill my promise, I sang "Glory to Our Lady of the Valley," something very intimate but full of love and devotion.
Then, we admired the church for a while and went to the grotto to light our candles.
More than asking for anything, what I did was give thanks... Thank her for being a pillar during my hospitalization. I spent my afternoons singing the song of the promise and asking for her intercession to heal me again. Arriving in El Valle and feeling that aura of love emanating from her felt like confirmation that she had been with me the whole time. A real boost of faith, hehe.

It was a wonderful and loving experience!
Grateful to God, to Our Lady of El Valle, to my mom for always being there for me, and to you for reading! 💜

Your experience is beautiful! It’s so inspiring to see how you cherished every moment the joy, love, and gratitude you felt in each step. It’s also touching to see how trusting in God brings strength and peace to the heart, even during challenging times. Truly, when we have faith and gratitude, even simple moments become special and serve as inspiration not only for ourselves but also for those around us.
Prayers made to God heals every sicknesses and diseases. This place looks exotic, so much money would have gone into building it.
