A day to get to know new places / Un día para conocer sitios nuevos
Greetings to all members of this prestigious community @dailyblog, I am pleased to be with you publishing for the first time. I read the theme of the community and I found it very interesting because it is about events that mark our lives day by day and that we can share with the whole community.
This time I want to share with you the experience of visiting a very interesting park that I visited with my wife @morepina located in the city of Guanare, in the state of Portuguesa in Venezuela.

Lei la temática de la comunidad y me pareció muy interesante porque se trata de eventos que marcan nuestras vidas día a día y que podemos compartir con toda la comunidad.
En esta oportunidad quiero compartirles la experiencia de conocer un parque muy interesante que visité junto a mi esposa @morepina ubicado en la ciudad de Guanare, perteneciente al estado Portuguesa en Venezuela.
This is the Apparition Park, which owes its name to the fact that in that place, specifically in the creek that passes through there, occurred the apparition of the Virgin Mary to the Indian chief named Coromoto back in 1650 and that is why we call the Virgin of Coromoto, patron saint of Venezuela.

Se trata del parque La aparición, que debe su nombre a que en ese sitio, específicamente en la quebrada que pasa por allí, ocurrió la aparición de la virgen María al cacique indio llamado Coromoto por allá por el año 1650 y por eso llamamos a la virgen de la Coromoto, patrona de Venezuela.
This is a beautiful park that has a stream, green areas, walkways, recreational sites and on the site of the apparition was built an image of the Virgin of Coromoto. People go there to pay pledges and also to walk for exercise and relaxation.

What caught my attention was the abundant vegetation with a variety of very tall and leafy trees and the number of people who visit it, at least that day the park was very crowded. We had a hard time getting a bench to sit and contemplate nature, we enjoyed the birds singing that reach the trees and fill the landscape with color and call for rest and reflection.

Lo que mas llamó mi atención fue la abundante vegetación que posee con variedad de árboles muy altos y frondosos y la cantidad de personas que lo visitan, al menos ese día el parque estaba muy concurrido. Nos costó trabajo conseguir una banca para sentarnos a contemplar la naturaleza, disfrutamos del canto de las aves que llegan a los árboles y llenan de colorido el paisaje y llaman al descanso y la reflexión.
In the surroundings of the park there are numerous stores selling sweets, ice cream, hot dogs and all kinds of soups and foods of the area.
The area of Guanare and its surroundings is characterized by the intense heat because it is the gateway to the plains, that is, there begin the states that make up the plains of Venezuela and therefore the heat is what identifies the "llaneros".

En los alrededores del parque hay numerosos negocios donde venden dulces, helados, perros calientes y todo tipo de sopas y comidas de la zona.
La zona de Guanare y sus adyacencias se caracteriza por el intenso calor por ser la puerta del llano, es decir, allí comienzan los estados que conforman la llanura de Venezuela y por ende el calor es lo que lo identifica a los llaneros.

Outside the park you get some children who, for a small collaboration, tell you the whole story of the apparition of the virgin but they do it speaking at high speed and almost without breathing. You have to pay close attention to them to understand the message they want to convey.

Fuera del parque se consiguen unos niños que, por una pequeña colaboración, te cuentan toda la historia de la aparición de la virgen pero lo hacen hablando a gran velocidad y casi sin respirar. Hay que prestarles mucha atención para poder entender el mensaje que quieren transmitir.
That day we spent a good part of the afternoon in that place contemplating the beauty of its flora and even observing the araguatos, which are a kind of monkeys, which can be seen in the high treetops jumping from one branch to another and making a characteristic noise.

Ese día pasamos una buena parte de la tarde en ese lugar contemplando la belleza de su flora e incluso observando los araguatos, que son una especie de monos, que se pueden ver en las altas copas de los árboles saltando de una rama a otra y haciendo un ruido característico.
All in all it was a nice ride full of history that we were able to enjoy to the fullest, breathing fresh air and being in contact with nature.
