RE: I Think I Know What It's Like In Paradise.

in Daily Blog9 days ago

I rarely remember what I dream but I do believe that dreams can have a meaning for us.
Getting enough sleep and rest is so important. My husband for a couple of weeks a year ago had episodes of sleep apnea and it was very distressing because he was not sleeping well out of fear of stop breathing. With better eating habits and exercise and improving his physical condition the apnea went away. I hope that in your case too.

I hope your wife gets better and gets back to health and that your health gets better too. Take care.
Happy Holidays!

I am fascinated by what our brains can do while we sleep. I, as a former cinephile and movie lover, consider the brain the best director of surrealist movies. It would be so good if we could understand the messages being sent... I know your family is also in love with movies, if I'm not mistaken your husband actually works in this industry, I'm sure you understand what I'm saying.

I try to control my apnea, as your husband did, and I also monitor it, so I know when it evolves to higher risks.

My wife is in recovery and I think she will be fine. She's 73, I'm 71, and, unfortunately, we've made a collection of different illnesses that upset us one at a time and sometimes several together. I'm trying to enjoy the days to come as a bonus received from life, here's a time when I'm optimistic.

Wishing you happy holidays, good health, and a better future for your son, dear @coquicoin!

I totally get what you are trying to say. And yes, my husband is a filmmaker. And I am sometimes amazed at his ability to make up stories or recreate a scene. Many of which he probably came up with while he was dreaming. I believe that people who have that creativity have a gift to be able to tell about those images that pass through our brain while we sleep and paradoxically, at least in the case of my husband, he has always had trouble sleeping. He has a hard time getting to sleep and wakes up frequently during the night, while I usually sleep like a baby, hehe. Maybe that has something to do with creativity, who knows.

I hope yours and your wife's health improves. And enjoy one day at a time is the best we can do.

Thank you for your good wishes for us, dear Dan and best wishes to you and yours for a 2025 healthy, wealthy and full of joy.
