That is as concerning as it is apparent. Imagine my surprise that just buying some seeds and putting them in dirt didn't result in copious harvests. In the decades since, I have gradually pieced together some few of the basal realities fundamental to agriculture hardly any of us learn in school. I reckon such things are far more important than some speech some dead guy gave, that most all of us have learned instead, the dead guy varying depending on jurisdiction.
