I was away from playing Splinterlands for a time being due to the time crunch and my deck limitations earlier. Since my deck mostly consisted of Beta cards and lacked untamed cards, I had to play in the "Wild" format where the competition was cut-throat due to the bot's presence. In the meantime, I focussed on building my CHAOS deck, and I got a decent "Gold" league deck of CHAOS cards but the lack of untamed cards still caused me to be limited in the "Wild" format, where SPS earnings were poor and fun for playing was diminished due to bots.

But last week, I started playing in Modern (Since, Untamed is out of Modern, I already have a decent CHAOS deck Rebellion cards are not overpriced as Untamed used to earlier) and to test the "Tatic" mechanism of the Rebellion Summoner and afterward I was somewhat hooked to playing. Since I resumed after a long time, I degraded from the "Gold league" to the Novice league. (Though I have reached Silver League now and may be able to reach Gold before Season end.). One thing I noticed is the SPS payments I was getting at each win.

It is .709 SPS for a win in the Bronze League battle, and I remember, I used to earn the same in the Wild format of the Gold League earlier. Since SPS price has also almost doubled in past 6 month, I expect my earnings for Dollar value might be at least 8x or more, Once I reach Gold League.

Rebellion Earning potential and use case.

1. Strong cards with new abilities.

Rebellion introduces so many new abilities and Summoner Tactics, that having Rebellion cards in your decks increases your chances of winning the battles. While playing the battles , I observed that cards like Gobalano Soldier, and Nimbledook Scout are really powerful cards. Rebellion Summoners offers a wide range of possibilities in creating team that can strongly boost the winning chances.

2. Rebellion Brawls.

There are specific Brawls that are for only the Rebellion cards set. Building your deck and playing the Rebellion Brawls will make you an ideal team player and boost your Guild chances to rank higher which will help in getting more Merits and SPS as rewards.

3. Rebellion-only tournaments.

I checked there are Rebellion-only tournaments also where I see participating in it is guaranteed profit as entry fees and the last ranks that will be rewarded are equal. Since the number of participants is less than the last rank which will be rewarded, you will not lose the fees and can make the guaranteed returns by playing in the Rebellion-only tournaments.

4. Airdrop of Rebellion cards.

Since Splinterlands is changing the airdrop rules from the Rebellion release, Owning Rebellion cards will make you eligible for Rebellion Cards/Summoner. Please check for the Splinterlands post for more details as this mechanism is new and fully different from the previous existing mechanism.

If you are playing Splinterlands, it is better to play in Modern Leagues and I feel building a Rebellion deck will definitely help in securing more wins.
