The art of decision making

Sometimes we need to make tough decisions to achieve certain goals. It's often not easy at the start, one would need to endure certain challenges but if luck falls on one's side, the future is always glorious. I made such a tragic decision this year. Nothing seemed to be working out for me in my hometown, all I did was sleep, eat, and wake up to the same routine that added nothing to my life. I was tired and I had to advise myself to leave my hometown to somewhere different, hoping it would be my drive to work or pursue my future with all diligence.

I've never stayed away from home outside the purpose of schooling. I could only wonder how the world outside would look like and I wasn't having much on me to start life on my own. I called a few of my friends and told them my plans and they all welcomed me and I decided to go stay with one who was closer, about 4-5 hours drive from my city. It wasn't easy just as I had expected, much didn't change but I know the cost of feeding and my wellbeing all depended on me. I had hoped to go in search of a job here but there are no vacancies and the one with vacancy is far from where I am and the salary is too poor to cover my feeding and transportation.

I'm happy that I've left home and in search of a greener pasture. It might not be all it is now but I know the steps I've taken will produce results in the near future. Now I know I can survive on my own and that I have a push to go get a job, that's enough force needed to start out here. I've left home and I don't have the desire to return so soon until I'm established.
