My favorite Christmas movie: Home Alone.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. Growing up as kids, the Christmas season excited us more compared to how it does as adults; most of the time as adults, our only excitement is the fact that we get to rest from work and probably school, but as kids we are excited we don't get to see the wicked mathematics teacher until the new year; the fact we would get new clothes and shoes is even more exciting news, but what makes it more fun is the fact many channels on strong dish then would be showing Christmas movies, and most gave us what we wanted; there are many Christmas movies, but trust me, my favorite Christmas movie is Home Alone.

Those days, once kids in the neighborhood hear you guys are watching Home Alone in your house, even those who don't come to your house on a normal day will look for a space to fix themselves just so they don't miss out and don't want to be told stories.

It is that time of the year again; more Christmas movies will be aired this Christmas, but trust me, none will beat my favorite Christmas movie of all time. I don't think there is a movie that can actually take the place of Home Alone in my heart. It has been so since time immemorial, and funny how I have never gotten tired of seeing it; for once, I can see it thrice in a day and still see it the next day. The comedy and how everyone played their role perfectly helped make the movie interesting and can keep one glued to the screen as they look forward to the comedy scenes.

The movie is all about a child that was forgotten at home while the rest of the family went on a Christmas vacation. The parents only got to remember or discover he was not with them while they were miles away from home, and going back to get him became an issue as there was no flight going back immediately, and the mom had to find an alternative to get home while the rest of the family continued their journey.

Back home, the little boy had to defend their house from getting broken Into it, he set traps for the thieves who, from their findings, thought everyone living in the neighborhood had traveled but did not know he was left behind. He was scared at first, but in the end, he did all he could to ensure their house was not broken into. He did succeed in defending the house with the help of a neighbor he was always scared of and the police intervening to help him secure victory over the thieves.

If you have not seen the movie Home Alone, then you are missing out, and I am left wondering how you actually missed not watching it. Those days every Christmas movie is boring to us, and the only one we are sure of and can really stay glued to the screen for us is Home Alone.

Home alone is one of the best Christmas movie ever, due to how much I enjoyed it back then, I even watched it all over again last year, it was as mind-blowing as the first time I watched it.

I never watched this movie but now this Christmas I'll watch it too lol 😁
