Do you have to be so loud when chewing?

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. When it comes to tolerating pet peeves, it actually varies from one individual to another because something you consider a pet peeve, another person sees as a normal thing and will never change or stop it for anything, as they feel it is actually very okay to do those things, and since it is fine by them, it should be the same for you, but it is not so. No one should expect everyone to like something or be comfortable with it just because they like it or are comfortable with it; we are all humans, but we are wired differently, and that makes us like different things.

There are things you can consider annoying, but a friend or another person will be so happy to do those things because they are comfortable with it and don't see anything wrong with it. We are all different, and things we are comfortable with and things we are not comfortable with will always differ.

When we talk about pet peeves, I have quite a few. I have very low tolerance for some, while for some I can actually tolerate to a certain point before I react. Pet peeves vary from one individual to another, like I said earlier, like in the case of my uncle, who chews loudly and sees it as a normal thing and everyone should be fine with that but cannot tolerate seeing anybody leave foam or soap on the wall of a bathroom after bathing; if you see his reaction after seeing such, you will think the person committed a great crime.

While on my path, I can actually tolerate soap and foam on the wall after bathing, but loud chewing takes me to my breaking point in no time; I react to it like when a catalyst is added to fasten a chemical reaction. The days I lived with my uncle, since he was older, I managed to talk to him about it once, but since he did not change the moment he is served food, I make my way to my room to avoid disrespecting him and having myself called up to a family meeting and being the topic of discussion in the meeting.

I have pet peeves I can tolerate it for quite some time before I react, but loud chewing hits differently; some people do it like they are giving beats to a producer, and it is even more annoying. Loud chewing is that one pet peeve that gets to me, and I cannot help my reaction. Even if the person is older than me, I might try not to say a word or react wrongly, but my facial expression will always convey the message. I might hold myself from saying anything, but my facial expression will actually show how disgusted and irritated I feel, but sometimes instead of letting myself suffer such irritation, I avoid any situation that will make me see something I don't like.
