My hive introductory post - @odoiabdull

Hello Buddies!
Here I introduce myself to this community of fellow writers.

Let’s begin with Who I Am?

I am Abdul-Manan Abubakari, with user name odoiabdull. I am that person who never had a nickname whilst growing up until this username, which I started using after my late godfather as he used to call me, just to remember and adore his memories with me. With my demographics, I’ll just say I’m a 5.3 feet tall young man with a fair skin complexion. I am a skinny guy with an average weight of 110 pounds. I was born in the early 2000s, so that puts me in the Generation-Z, of people much familiar with screens and technology.
I come from the Guinea-Savanna regions of the mother nation Ghana in West Africa. I reside with a family of thirteen (13) in the Northern Region of Ghana, the heart of the north, a city called Tamale.

What is my career & profession?

I am still a student at the University for Development Studies. My love for animals drove me towards my academic career into pursuing Veterinary Nursing. I am a final year student who would be part of the next graduating class by the will of the Almighty.

What again do I do?

But aside academia, I am a focus-driven young man who believes in achieving all my goals and dreams outside a white collar. My love for good scents and perfume triggered me at one time and I was like:
“Hey young man, I’m aware you love good scents. You prefer decency and organization in your life to messy unorganized forms. You prefer to be complimented as looking good, smelling nice, walking humbly and speaking softly.
You want to be hugged just because you smell nice, your presence noticed due to the fragrance you emit and not shouting to be noticed”.
This was what brought up my idea of beginning a perfume business. And for two years now, I can proudly say I am a change maker in the scents and aura people exude due to my explicit perfumes.

Interests and hobbies

As a young kid growing from the dust of the north, we were playing and building statues with clay rather than playing video games as others did. We run around in whirlwind just before a heavy downpour of rain. We would sneak to the woods and bushes just to have fun games like ‘hide and seek’. This was how we usually lived outside school.
This briefly draws back to the beginning of my interests in art, drawing and making pictographs. Though I didn’t pursue my career focusing on art, but it broaden my scope of thinking that I begun to read and write more by making a good use of all the good thoughts it up brought on board.
Aside these, I love to spend much quality time with my friends, having offline conversations, cheering each other up, eating and drinking together, sharing tales with profound laughter.
I just enjoy good company and exploring new things, that’s why I can’t leave off traveling as part of my interests.

Ghana, my beloved country has 16 regions. And I have had an adventurous travel and tour to at least 13 regions of my nation. I have toured from the coastal areas and green forestlands of the southern Ghana to the parks, games and wild of the northern Ghana. I have spent quality times moving around the zoos and having a feel of the wild in conservation. And with people of great interests in hills, resorts and experiences of the waterfalls from farther heights is what will quench your desire. The waterfalls I have visited pours from afar hills as if they are rooted in the skies. It is a great scenery to relax the nerves and calm the mind.
As art fortifies my spirit, i have also toured to museums of ancient art galleries, embodiments of things our nation hold in high esteem. Out coastal lands are also surrounded by castles built high in the skies, a place of resort of our colonial masters in the early 1800s and 1900s.
My nation is also a place which holds camps to partially mythical creatures of witches and wizards.
I would strongly recommend Ghana as a place of tourism for people living in glass houses and raincoats abroad, not to forget about the the entirely hot weather of my nation.

Why hive?

I am a dreamer and a pursuer of my interests. While others may spend quality times on their phones and internet, I wouldn’t say I am a local person but I love to spend a quality portion of my time at weird places such as the top of a hill, under the shade of trees, in the darkness of a cave. And much I do is thinking, dreaming, aspiring and writing.
This is when I realized a community like hive is where I belong, where I get to share my pieces of writing, interact and network with other writers, and also get paid through my efforts.
How proud could that be?
And this is where I can’t forget to acknowledge my brother who introduced me to to this platform @zzzinnn.

My contributions to Hive

Hive, the digital world where writers share ideas and stories is a community I am very pleased to join. There wouldn’t be much differences from my side, but I’ll also be posting life experiences, life hacks, my feelings and thoughts about things, adventures and also some insight into perfume business.
To all animal lovers too, you wouldn’t be left out since I will gladly share my experiences with animals and how to handle, take good care and feed your animals to maintain a strong healthy life.
