The world is really becoming global, and social media has really taken over the world. Everyone wants to be on social media, both the old and the young. I was really surprised when my grandmother told me to open Facebook for her. I was like, What is this woman going to do? After I opened it for her, she was really happy. Social media connects people from different countries and tribes. Social media is known for its entertainment. Social media is the life of the world. With social media, you can never be bored. It has a way of brightening up its users with amazing content. Have you ever imagined that a life without social media is really going to be boring? The beauty and importance of social media can’t be overemphasised. It is true that most people abuse social media, but social media is one of the best things I have come across in my generation. I am so happy that social media was introduced to my generation.
Should people be judged by their social media profiles?
There is a saying that always goes like this: don’t judge a book by its cover. I am not going to judge any social media because of its profile. If I judge someone based on their social media profile, that will not be good for me.
Reasons why I will not judge them based on their social media profiles.
The majority of people on social media fake their lifestyle; they are not original. I understand that social media is packaging, and some people try their best to package themselves on social media.
Some also want to get fame on social media, and they are ready to share information that will help me be popular.
Most times, when I login to my Instagram account, I see the rate at which people are fake just to get fame. I always smile at myself. That is why I can never kill myself over things I see on Facebook because some of them don’t have all those things they claim they have achieved. For me, social media is just the more you look, the less you see. Don’t take most of the things you see on social media so seriously.
Most of them are content creators; maybe they look so serious when you meet them, but in reality, they are amazing. Social media can make you do things you are not supposed to do just to be famous.
Social media is really amazing if used in the right way. I can never judge a social media user based on their profile.

Content creators especially can go extreme just to get something for their followers. And you'll see looking up and wishing to be like them, forgetting that not all that glitters is gold.

Yes o, not all what we see on social media is real. I know lot of people that live large on their various status but when you get to the homes you will find out they can't barely eat 3 square meal.
Yes dear most times i ask myself is this really necessary to claim what you are not.
