My Introduction Post (ENG-ESP) by @viktoriaarts

English:

Many greetings to everyone here, I am very excited to belong to the Hive Platform, and I want to show the art that I am doing and share it with all of you. I was born in Caracas on October 15, 2005, and I live in the Parque Caiza area in Caracas, Venezuela.

I started doing art since I was a little girl, taking different extracurricular classes to finally choose my favorite which was painting/drawing. I was in music classes since I was five years old, gymnastics, different types of dance and cooking. But in the end I decided for painting and drawing.

At a very early age I was also on a TV show singing but, I didn't like to go out in public. From time to time I published some of my works on digital platforms in a low profile because I was shy. However, I was marketing some of the pieces on those platforms. I decided to start making art because I feel I have a lot to express and I want to show my vision of the world, besides having a peculiar way of assimilating knowledge that I believe can be shown to society.

The genres that represent me the most are: Realism (since that's what I learn from the Martinis Academy), impressionism and mysticism. These are the currents that I admire the most. I am currently studying at the university UNEARTE and the aforementioned Martinis Academy, in which I have been developing little by little to be able to create my own works at a professional level and show them to the public.

Since I have been at UNEARTE I have been working on my own development in every possible way, socially, artistically and psychologically. I think that what really makes you a good student and also an artist is to have a control of the balance in your life, such as the specific daily priorities and those that will be in the long term. Since I was little I have also had a lot of observation skills and intuition, I consider these are essential for an emerging artist as well as creativity. In my family we were always taught to be very independent and to be alone, which generated in me a very wide inner world that I am still getting to know and that is where I usually get my ideas for my drawings in class. To be able to interpret, paint, reproduce and express the outside world or even the world of a specific person, we first need to discover our inner world.

When I sit down to create something (usually after receiving information or some new knowledge) I get an exact and precise concept in my head about what the work will be and how it will look like, in this way I focus completely on it for as long as possible and that is how I usually finish the works, in my experience with commissions and commissions is a similar process, although a little different in the part of the idea, I usually give my perception to the request of the person who commissions it. I think the best part of this is to express the inner world of another person and make them feel some emotion, such as feeling identified. A recent experience of this type that I had was at my university, as I had mentioned, my inspiration to create usually comes from my inner world but from time to time, very sporadically I find a "muse" to help my creativity. Something curious about this is that the time they last with me (or in my creativity) is almost always the same, between 6 months or a year. Going back to the subject of identification, I was able to experience it again when after painting for 5 months to my current muse I finally showed her the drawings I had been doing. I think I will always remember his nervous smile and how he expressed that he felt very identified because he had even put his moles (an aspect that he told me was something he didn't like about himself some time ago but now he does).

I came to this great platform thanks to my Art teacher, Nahu Padilla, who I met in April at the University @nahupuku, and I am the first student to be part of the Onboarding that presents today its introductory post. I hope you support my work and like the art and makeup content I'm going to share with you.
