The Cruise on the Yacht

In my last post I mentioned that the family went on a boat cruise for my 30th birthday celebration.

This was by far my most memorable trip on a yacht. We were so privileged to have rented the yacht as a private party. So it was just the 6 of us.

The captain, Theklis, took us out to sea from 10am on the morning of my birthday.

We went to a beautiful spot on the coast called Blue Bay where we anchored for an hour. My Dad and brother had a swim but the rest of us opted just to enjoy the sunshine. The wind was a bit on the chilly side still.

We had a delicious baguette - each with fillings of our choice and fruit which was provided for by the captain.

We opened a bottle of Moet and had a drink to celebrate my 30th.

My brothers girlfriend Kiara was due to arrive on the Saturday following my birthday and we planned a barbecue to welcome her. Sad that she was not with us to celebrate on this occasion
but at least we would all be together on the weekend and she would celebrate with us on the Sunday for a brunch with other friends.

In my next post I'll post a photograph of the guitar given to me by my mother, brother, Jack and Les. So spoilt as not only did I get the memory but also such amazing gifts.

More photographs will be posted as soon as I catch a breath with all of the excitement.
