The What Are We Fixing Situation?

Well Hello There Fellow Technicians And Hivers!

A Oily Situation!

Well it doesn't look very oily does it?
We get the strangest complaints from clients, really we do!

Okay so there is a oil leak of sorts but not on the transmission side but rather on the motor side, now this one came in for a oil leak but it does have a transmission problem. They must have put two and two together, the thing now is that they will still have a oil leak, I don't think the client would be happy to hear that more work needs doing.

Still Searching For The Problem.

Now since the oil leak isn't where the problem is we can still go the extra mile to find the oil leak!

Now in truth I'm not even sure if this is a oil leak from the start, I think it's a fuel leak or perhaps a brake fluid leakage.
I'd have to speak to Bossman about this one so that the client can be approached with these unexpected problems!

This Is Really Confusing, It Must Be A Fuel Leak.
Although, not a problem I see the client fixing.

No Clue What's Wrong.

In truth I don't even know what's wrong with this vehicle, Bossman test drove this car and just told me that I need to remove the megatronix. Of-course it must be the route of the problem or just part of the problem.

The problem might very well end up being the clutch or this might have led to a clutch failure over time. Either or I am keen on seeing if we will need to remove the transmission or not.

I hope so, laughs! The more work the merrier!

Not All Bad.

The overall condition isn't that bad, although it's has slight discoloring on the shafts and gears.
It does need a oil change however and something deeper within might be the reason for the discoloring, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. These rarely break inside.

I will however need to give it a nice clean up before re-fitting the megatronix. Otherwise I wont even hire myself.

Not Mechanical By The Looks.

Taking a look at the condition of the oil I drained from the megatronic it doesn't appear to be a internal mechanical problem at all.

Might be the computer plate, although you can't really spot the mechanical errors in the megatronix itself. Not with the naked eye at-least. Well not always, let me rather put it that way.

Take note this is not a how to guide, merely myself talking about the work I do and my thoughts around certain things.
