Espero se encuentren muy bien y este siendo un gran fin de semana, el día de hoy decidí hacer un pequeño dibujo como recuerdo de la castración de mi pequeño Julián, porque ha sido un gran chico y a pesar de todo se ha portado como un caballero y me he sentido muchas veces mal por hacerle pasar por esto en este momento, aunque se que es por su bienestar, como sea, quise hacer este dibujo como un recuerdo de este momento tan importante para mi y les mostrare un poco del proceso.

I hope you are very well and this being a great weekend, today I decided to make a little drawing as a memory of the castration of my little Julian, because he has been a great boy and despite everything he has behaved like a gentleman and I have felt bad many times for making him go through this at this time, although I know it is for his welfare, however, I wanted to make this drawing as a reminder of this important moment for me and I will show you a little of the process.

Mi pequeño Julián tiene 8 meses viviendo conmigo y como me he encariñado con esta pequeña fieresilla, se apodero de mi corazón y ahora me tiene como su enfermera de tiempo completo, me he llenado de paciencia y comprensión para intentar entender lo que quiere y que este lo mejor posible y creo que en cierta medida lo he logrado, y quiero hacer muchos dibujos mas de nuestra rutina, pero el día de hoy quise hacer un dibujo de el aun adormilado por la anestesia como cuando fui a buscarlo al consultorio para traerlo de nuevo a casa.

My little Julian has 8 months living with me and as I have become attached to this little fierce little thing, he took over my heart and now has me as his full time nurse, I have filled myself with patience and understanding to try to understand what he wants and that he is the best possible and I think to some extent I have succeeded, and I want to make many more drawings of our routine, but today I wanted to make a drawing of him still sleepy from the anesthesia as when I went to the office to bring him back home.

Lo siguiente fue colocar la base de color, iba a ser un coloreado sencillo acorde con el estilo del dibujo, así que lo primer fue seleccionar cada uno de los colores, los cuales coloque en diferentes capas para poder hacer un proceso de coloreado mas ordenado; elegí un tono moreno de piel para mi y naranja para mi felino amigo, el color de la ropa es el mismo de la ropa que use el día de su operación.

The next thing was to place the base color, it was going to be a simple coloring according to the style of the drawing, so the first thing was to select each of the colors, which I placed in different layers to make a more orderly coloring process; I chose a brown skin tone for me and orange for my feline friend, the color of the clothes is the same as the clothes I wore the day of his operation.

Luego comencé a colocar algunas luces, sombras y detalles en mi rostro, colocando rubor en las mejillas, aunque ese día distaba mucho de ser un día en cual luciera bien y estaba mucho mas despeinada que de costumbre, si refleja la alegría que tenia al encontrarme nuevamente con mi gato después de su cirugía; luego de pintar el rostro hice lo mismo sobre mi ropa y por supuesto en el pelaje de mi gato, hice lo posible por replicar las manchas atigradas de mi niño en su carita adormilada.

Then I started to put some lights, shadows and details on my face, putting blush on my cheeks, although that day was far from being a day in which I looked good and I was much more disheveled than usual, it does reflect the joy I had to meet again with my cat after his surgery; after painting my face I did the same on my clothes and of course on my cat's fur, I did my best to replicate the brindle spots of my child in his sleepy face.

Y este ha sido el resultado final de este dibujo junto a mi gatito lindo, ha sido una experiencia mas difícil de lo que imagine, al ser Julián un gato que puede salir de casa ha sido difícil mantenerlo adentro y siempre estoy vigilante de el aunque todo este cerrado, espero que se recupere muy pronto su herida para que siga siendo el gato vivaz y libre que adoro!

And this has been the final result of this drawing with my cute kitty, it has been a more difficult experience than I imagined, being Julian a cat that can leave the house it has been difficult to keep him inside and I am always watching him even if everything is closed, I hope he recovers very soon his wound to continue being the lively and free cat that I love!
