En esta ocasión, no solo quiero compartir con ustedes una pintura sino también relatar la historia de la rosa hechizada detrás de la película de la Bella y la Bestia, e invitar a reflexionar acerca de la moraleja que nos deja como enseñanza...
Esta historia comienza con una anciana con mal aspecto que le pide refugio a un joven príncipe en una fría noche a cambio de una simple rosa.
El príncipe se burla del regalo y la rechaza de forma déspota, pero ocurre algo inesperado la anciana muestra su verdadera identidad, la de una hermosa mujer, que con ayuda de un hechizo convierte al príncipe en una horrenda bestia. Y como lección le dio la rosa, que estaba encantada, y que florecerá hasta que él cumpliera 21 años. Dejando como penitencia que si el último pétalo caía de la flor Sin que él aprendiera a amar y ser amado durante ese plazo, se quedaría como bestia por el resto de su vida.
