Money and health are the most important things on the planet earth and sometimes we lose them both just because we're chasing either of them.

In the process of making money, one of the most neglected aspects of life is our health. This is because it's very few people that can afford regular medical checkup and still remain rich.

In Africa and other Third World countries, it's pretty difficult to see an average citizen afford good pay and healthcare. It's either your chasing money or battling with your health. Due to the bad political systems in Africa, healthcare facilities are scarce and can only be available for the rich in the society. Which means only the highest bidder gets proper healthcare.

The dilemma of money and health is that young people chase money at the detriment of their health and use the same money made to manage their health at mid and old age.

It's usually said that a stitch in time saves nine. This applies to regular checking out health alongside our pursuit to make money.

Dangers of neglecting our health

  • it only takes one alive to chase money through working and other smart businesses around us. Dead people don't work or pursue businesses that'll give them money.
  • it becomes more difficult to save a life that is beyond medical profession. What I mean here is that there are situations that can be remedied if they're dictated on time.
  • it takes too much money to care for difficult health issues. A health situation that would've been treated with $10, would need more than $1,000 to treat when it becomes a severe case.

In conclusion, good health helps people to have the right mind to chase money. Your health is your wealth.
