It has been 3 weeks since my last post and update on GodsUnchained and "Blessings of the $GODS" event. This will be brief, but hopefully an informative post for everyone who is playing the game and for everyone who would like to get involved and earn some $GODS tokens. At the time of me writing this article $GODS is trading at $5.49 with around 9% increase in price since yesterday. There are 5 more weeks left from the event and a lot more tokens to be won.
In the first week I completed all the task and managed to stay in Ethereal Diamond to lock in all 4 points for the maximum earning potential. That earned 12.21 $GODS. This was week one.
On week two of the event I managed to get the same number of points as I did on week one. Total of 4 points. For week 2 - the reward was a bit less. I got a little bit more than 9 $GODS tokens. Due to the influx of new players the same amount of tokens was distributed between more players.
By the end of week two we had a little over 41k unique players. In order for increase of the rewards for everyone we need to cross the 50k unique players weekly in accordance to the event.
I am expecting for us to reach 50k players by the end of week 3 event and to have the reward pool add 1.25x more $GODS to the rewards. I do not want to set expectations too high for this weeks rewards, but I think on average we should see 16-18 $GODS. The rewards will fluctuate based on the player base. Also keep in mind that $GODS is slowly appreciating in value. What is worth $5 today, might be worth $20 or more a month from now. So it's always nice to keep things in perspective.
On a different note, I wanted to share with anyone else who did not notice this. The prices of cards on the market have been slowly climbing up. For the past 3 weeks, the value overall has risen by 30% or on some instances more than that. There is a huge interest in the Genesis set specifically, because it is the only set which is evergreen and the only set which will never be reprinted. It won't be long before genesis cards will be super rare and hard to find. On average of 1700 copies per legendary card, it's just no brainer that the supply will dry out at some point and nobody who wants to keep a full set would want to sell their cards.
