A veces, buscar un atuendo para momentos especiales como una boda se vuelve todo un desafío, y se le suma dificultad cuando se presenta el factor económico que puede ser una limitante para usar algo que realmente te guste en ese momento, y que también puedas usar en un futuro para otro evento, particularmente no me molesta usar un atuendo especial varias veces, sin embargo, me encanta poder hacerle cambios y transformaciones que se adecúen a lo que necesito para el momento y también para usarlo en otras ocasiones que no requieran tanta formalidad. Cuando hay una máquina de coser en casa y sabes algo de costura, o tu madre es costurera😏 transformar ropa se vuelve algo divertido y genial✨

Hace algunos día fue la boda de mi prima, ella es muy especial para mi, y aunque anunció su casamiento con suficiente anticipación no tenía lista mi ropa faltando una semana.

Siguiendo con el tema, lo cierto es que entre tanto buscar, otra prima a la que suelo pedirle consejos de outfits me recuerda el vestido de graduación, que de hecho ya lo había cortado para hacer una blusa, por lo que aún estaba por allí en alguna parte lo que resultó una falda, ¡la busqué y la encontré!, había pensado en unirlo nuevamente para hacer un vestido completo, pero se me ocurrió dejarlo por separado, mi mamá me ayudó a hacer los ajustes porque requerían de mas experiencia en la costura jejeje.

Entre esos ajustes hubo un corte de mangas a la blusa y se le hicieron ajustes a los lados para reducirla, sentí fue muy necesario para darle mas frescura, también ajustar los laterales de la falda ya que me quedaba un poco ancha, no fue mucho lo que se le hizo y al final el resultado me encantó muchísimo, demasiado cómodo, estilizaba un poco mi cuerpo, además de que era muy diferente, creo que incluso tenía un toque asiático, agrego también que hizo desaparecer las inseguridades, esas que a veces nos atacan☹️

Lo acompañé con unas sandalias negras super cómodas que de hecho tienen mas de un año conmigo, las cuido mucho y están como nuevas, una cartera que me regaló mi pareja junto a unas prendas muy bonitas, peiné mi cabello de lado e hice unas ondas muy sutiles.

El maquillaje también muy sutil ya que no se mucho del tema, y en las uñas me realicé un semipermanente minimalista y sencillo. Creo que al final fue un bonito atuendo, y muy cómodo lo cual es muy importante para mi. Logré rehusar una prenda y economizar al mismo tiempo, eso es una maravilla para nosotras jeje.

La verdad me gustó como terminó todo, es bueno experimentar con nuestros atuendos, transformarlos, dejar fluir la creatividad, para esos momentos en los que no tenemos lo suficiente para comprar algo costoso, y aunque sé que hay ropa muy bonita para ocasiones como esta pues también sé que se requiere tiempo para hallar algo que verdaderamente nos guste, y sobretodo cuando somos indecisas😅

A few days ago was my cousin's wedding, she is very special to me, and although she announced her wedding well in advance I didn't have my clothes ready.

Continuing with the theme, the truth is that among all the searching, another cousin that I usually ask for advice on outfits reminds me of the graduation dress, which in fact I had already cut it to make a blouse, so it was still somewhere there what turned out to be a skirt, I looked for it and found it, I had thought of joining it again to make a complete dress, but I thought of leaving it separately, my mom helped me to make the adjustments because they required more experience in sewing hehehehe.

Among those adjustments there was a cut sleeves to the blouse and made adjustments to the sides to reduce it, I felt it was very necessary to give it more freshness, also adjust the sides of the skirt as it was a little wide, it was not much that was done and in the end I loved the result, too comfortable, stylized my body a little, plus it was very different, I think it even had an Asian touch, I also add that it made insecurities disappear, those that sometimes we atacan☹️

I paired it with super comfortable black sandals that in fact have more than a year with me, I take care of them a lot and they are like new, a purse that my partner gave me along with some very nice clothes, I combed my hair sideways and made some very subtle waves.

The makeup was also very subtle since I don't know much about it, and on the nails I did a minimalist and simple semi-permanent. I think that in the end it was a nice outfit, and very comfortable which is very important for me. I managed to refuse a garment and economize at the same time, that's a wonder for us hehe.

I really liked how it all ended, it's good to experiment with our outfits, transform them, let our creativity flow, for those moments when we don't have enough to buy something expensive, and although I know there are very nice clothes for occasions like this, I also know that it takes time to find something that we really like, and especially when we are indecisive😅
