In a village far from the hustle and bustle of the city, a teenager who has just graduated from school runs home. He seemed very happy because he wanted to tell his mother that he passed the final school exam with good marks.
"Mama, look at this, I graduated with good grades," said Jono, handing him his graduation paper.
"Alhamdulillah, you finally graduated, son," said Menik, hugging her son.
"After this, I will look for a job, so you stay at home," said Jono.
"Don't Jono, I can still work, you should just continue to university. I'm still able to pay for you" said Menik.
"No mam, you are old and often cough. I don't want to continue to burden you" said Jono. "I will find a job so you can rest at home" Jono continued.
The next day, Jono went to the house of a rich merchant who owned a coffee plantation. There, Jono wanted to work on the coffee plantation owned by Mr. Warto, the owner of the coffee plantation. Jono is accepted to work on a coffee plantation as a porter. Every coffee harvested must be immediately transported to the warehouse for sorting.
After a month Jono worked, and all of Jono's first salary was given to his mother. Jono is very proud of himself for being able to help his parents. Jono asked his mother not to work anymore, because her mother was too old to work.
A week later, when Jono came home from a long day at work, Jono saw his mother lying in bed. Adzan Maghrib's call to prayer had sounded, Jono woke up the mother who was sleeping on the bed.
"Mama, it's maghrib call to prayer, it's time to pray mam," said Jono while waking his mother.
But his mother didn't wake up. Usually, Menik will immediately perform ablution when the call to prayer is heard. Even while sleeping, Menik immediately woke up because Menik was a devout person who worshiped Allah. When Menik did not wake up when the call to prayer, his son, Jono, was confused and suspicious. When Jono grabbed his mother's neck and hands, Jono immediately screamed and cried.
"NO!" shouted Jono.
Menik, who has had tuberculosis for a long time, never told her son. Now Jono lives alone. Jono continuously lamented the sadness that he had lost his mother. Even in his work, Jono can't focus because he keeps on remembering his mother.
One time, Jono made a little mistake in his work. Boss scolded Jono and shouted in front of Jono.
“You haven't been good at work lately! If this continues, I will lose!” said Boss while snapping at Jono.
"I'm sorry sir, I will not repeat this mistake," answered Jono.
"What are you thinking about? your mother? She's dead, eaten by worms," said Boss.
Hearing this, Jono became annoyed. Very strong emotions are not able to be controlled by Jono. Jono suddenly attacked the Boss blindly. Two security guards who stood guard in front of the warehouse ran and broke up Jono. For his actions, Jono was fired from his job. Jono does not have any grudge against his boss, he is willing to be dismissed from work because of his actions. Jono went to his mother's grave and complained about today's incident at his mother's grave. Jono cried.
Since there were not many jobs in the village, Jono decided to go to Jakarta. There he will try his fate to get a decent life. Jono has prepared everything including money. Jono will go by a bus tomorrow morning to go to Jakarta. Arriving in Jakarta, Jono looked for a boarding house so he could put his luggage. But unfortunately, Jono's wallet was lost, stolen when he arrived at the terminal. In the wallet, there is money for Jono's needs while in Jakarta. But the wallet has been stolen by someone else.
For a while, Jono slept under a riverside bridge with the homeless. On a very hot day, Jono walked on the sidewalk offering to work for the street vendors who were selling. On the street was a 50-year-old man carrying a bag filled with money and documents on a motorbike. Suddenly from behind, two men on motorbikes stopped the 50-year-old man and forcibly took his bag. The old man was kicked to the ground. When the thieves try to escape, their motorbike breaks down, so they run to save themselves. From the front, you can see a truck moving at high speed. Immediately, Jono swiftly saved the old man.
"What happened, sir?" Ask John.
"They just took my bag which contains important documents" replied the old man.
"Quickly call the police, I will chase them," said Jono.
"Be a careful kid!" said the old man.
While in the village, Jono studied martial arts with his neighbors. Jono quickly found the two thieves and managed to bring the culprit to the old man. Shortly after, the police came and arrested the two thieves. The old man was very grateful to Jono. It turned out that the man was the owner of a famous bookstore in the city of Jakarta. In return for his gratitude to Jono, now Jono is allowed to live in the old man's house and work in his bookstore with a high position. Jono also lived happily.
The End.

Quite a journey Jono had and all ended well for him.
Great conflict in the beginning and good resolution too, a well deserved reward for a good man.

Oh no. 😅
Just Miss.
You're welcome too.
oh. im sorry miss.
My English is so bad that I can't tell the difference between mam and miss
It's alright though.
There's absolutely no problem. :)
Jono’s mother was lucky to have such a good son and the old man was, also, lucky that he was around to save the day. To conclude you give us resolution in the form of Jono’s reward for his bravery and good heart. Hard work and kindness win the day.
