The sensations of a sighted child impregnate us while we understand that the sadness that fills the text will increase in intensity until it becomes catastrophic. I think I read in the image of the narrator's invisible friends the presence of angels. I also seem to recognize the face that emerges among the clouds and then disappears.

Always dear. As always though, humanity finds it difficult to accept a world outside sight and touch. Also we would not always have prophets to tell us that the end is near be it individual or communal.
