Why are you gobbling the food?

"What happened? Is everything okay?" Amjad asked Raheel when he suddenly stopped his car.

"I think, there is some problem in the engine. We would have to bring it to the mechanic. " He replied while he was checking the engine of the car.

"Are you mad? We are already late. You should have sorted out this problem before."

"I am sorry, but there is not any other option left, because the problem is out of my reach."

"Whatever! I am not going to the mechanic shop right now. I think we should leave it here and should go to the wedding ceremony, otherwise, we will miss the grand dinner. "

"Seriously? You are still thinking about the dinner!"

They were invited to the wedding ceremony of their colleague which was held in the Miraj Markey in their area. Amjad was excited to attend the wedding, but on their way, their car was out of order. Raheel tried hard to start the car, but all was in vain. He suggested, that they should bring the car to the mechanic to get the issue resolved but this was unbearable for Amjad as he was desperate to attend the wedding. So on his insistence, Raheel locked the car and left it on the side of the road.

They hire a taxi and reached to the wedding hall. They both met with their other colleagues and sat with them. The groom and bride appeared on the stage, everyone welcomed them with warm wishes. After the nikah ceremony, they decided to have a photo shoot before the dinner was being served. The groom also called them to have some photographs. Finally, the dinner was served. Amjad and Raheel were sitting at the same table.

Raheel took some nuggets with rice and started to eat. But as soon as he saw Amjad, he was shocked. There was a plate in Amjad's hand full of chicken nuggets and he was eating without blinking an eye. As soon as he finished it, he added more nuggets to his plate. Moreover, he also filled another plate with rice and started to eat. This was startling for Raheel as he had never seen Amjad eating in this manner before. He whispered in his ear,

"Are you insane? Why are you gobbling the food?

But Amjad continued eating without paying attention to him. Raheel again said,

"No matter how tasty the food is, never forget that its excess can be harmful, your stomach can't digest this much food."

But Amjad never paid heed to him and ate until his belly was filled. After the dinner, they presented gifts to the couple and wished them a happy life together. After that, they left for their home. On the way, Raheel said to him,

"I was not expecting this from you. No matter how hungry were you, you should haven't eaten this much food."

"What? I haven't done anything wrong! We were invited there."

"Alright!But it doesn't mean that you forget everything for the sake of food. Your health comes first. "

"Nothing is going to happen, you are just worried about little things."

"Okay! As you wish."

Raheel dropped him at his place and went to his home. The next day, he woke up and after having his breakfast he left for his office. When he reached there, someone informed me that Amjad was absent today due to illness. He called him, but Amjad was not responding. After the off, he went to his house to ask him about his health. When he reached there, he saw Amjad was lying on his bed. He was looking weak and pale. Raheel asked him the reason for his illness. Amjad realized his mistake, he spoke with great difficulty with the signs of embarrassment on his face,

" My stomach got badly upset due to the food I ate last night. You were right! I shouldn't have eaten that much food. I spent the whole night vomiting."

He further said,

"But, next time I would be careful. "

Raheel never said anything which would have made him more embarrassed, he just asked him about the medicines.

"Are you taking your medicine?"

"Yes, but nothing is working. "

I think we should go to another doctor. "

Raheel brought him to the hospital and after the check-up, he dropped him back and also wished him a speedy recovery. Then, he left for his home.
