Weekend Engagement #155 - Starve to death or resort to cannibalism?

Hi, all beautiful Hive community friends. Happy Sunday and happy weekend. May this week we all receive blessings and strength. So, this week's #weekend-engagement provides some interesting topics to be explained in this article. However, one choice of topics caught my attention, namely; "Starve to death or resort to cannibalism?". This question makes me imagine something horror, like in a movie. Let's imagine together If the whole world has a food crisis or there is no food at all. The long dry season accompanied by the effects of global warming has resulted in the death of plants and crop failure in all areas. Followed by the many livestock that died of hunger and thirst. In the end, there was nothing left to consume, and even money and other possessions were worthless apart from food.

I imagine if that happened, many people would go crazy and no longer think sanely. They will eat anyone to survive. Just like in zombie movies, people will attack anyone regardless of friends, spouse, parents, or even children. That would be terrible. But, I'm sure not everyone is like that. There will be those who choose to try other methods such as eating leaves, flowers, or other wild plants. What about me? I will also look for herbs that I can consume to survive. What if there are also no edible plants? I am aware that every creature including humans will die one day. If I turn myself into a cannibal to survive, I too will die someday. Since nothing lasts forever in this world, I would rather starve to death than become a cannibal. It's useless to survive a little longer, but feel stressed and scared in such a state.
