bEarthdays in México

Not even a week back in México and I celebrated already two bEarthdays.
I enjoyed the birthdays of my love Lluna and my good and long friend Hendrik here in México at the two weekends in the middle of January. These were two amazing weekends in two different ways of celebration.
Besides, January is a crazy birthday streak in our circle of friends around the world, like Germany, Swiss, French, Canada, and Australia. We could celebrate every day for more than a week.

Our whole crew celebrated Hendrik's bEarthday on a sailing trip to Isla Mujeres.
The water in the Caribbean Sea is out of blue. I could sit all day long in the shade of a palm tree and observe this wonder. Nature is wonderful. Makes my existence so relaxing, just watching the creation of millions of years.

Water, water, water. You know, where water is there is also beach.

We were snorkeling and they showed us these hands.
I was wondering about their posture. Looks like someone wants to give pleasure.

You probably spotted the dark clouds over the water, right?
What a contrast! But nonetheless, the sun was sizzling at full blast.

That's why sunscreen is important. I've observed many cultures and different countries and saw that an umbrella is a smart choice. Not only it gives you protection for precipitation, it's a great sunscreen. But you also can juggle with it. If you can. Or play roulette. It's a good handy walking stick. Beyond all of that, it's also a fantastic weapon or shield. Depending on your skill level, it can be an impressive weapon to defend. And only to our defence! You can keep snakes, dogs or angry birds at a distance.
Next time when you buy a brolly, think about the quality to invest 😉
Some time ago, at the #buzzparty with @hivebeecon in Kraków in October, I forgot my good brolly at a café. Now I have to choose a new weapon ☔️

Art is our constant companion. As soon as you go out of the streets of México, you will see varies masterpieces on all kind of surface, like walls, bridges, houses inside and outside.
The creativity is so good that it sometimes lends you wings.

As a traditional Mexican birthday, we went to a taquería. Not a random one. Exactly the same one where we went and celebrated Hendrik's birthday two years ago. Delicious tacos for everybody. Muy rico!

If you ever have the chance to join an ecstatic dance workshop, do it.
Usually you find the right people and moderators at these kinds of workshops.
In our case, it was a great combination of Tantra and music.
The second birthday was Lluna's day. We went to Tulum and had a great weekend. Well, Lluna didn't feel well on the first day, on the workshop, and we celebrated her evening while she was sleeping next to us. Pobrecita!
But in the end…

…after letting to go on everything, dancing in harmony and to great music (I took only this photo to give space and privacy to my fellows)…

…or dreaming being a pole dancer…

...we all slept like kittens.

No kidding! Even the kitten slept like the dead.

This workshop was absolutely fantastic. The live music and company was beautiful. A musician with an electric Sitar played for us.
I did several workshops like that and lots of similar ones before. But this time was also different to me because of a few friends who did this for their first time. They loved it, and it was great to do it with them together.

I got some nice snaps of a snapper.

We found an escarabajo pimpo right in front of the entrance of the workshop.
México has a lot of VolksWagen. Old and stylish ones. VW Beetle Type 1 and the bus T1 and T2. It's an absolutely hippy paradise. Now you know where they've gone.
