Father, forgive them because they do not know what they are doing.
Luke 23:24

Hello friends of this community of weekend experiences, once again getting ready to participate in the topics proposed by our host Galenkp for this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Today I have chosen, after much reflection, the following topic:

If you could say a few nice things about your worst enemy, what would they be and why? Use your own photos.

Maybe this is the strangest text of my life, yesterday I wrote about friends and today I decided to dedicate a brief space of gratitude to my enemies, I swear I don't know very well how to do that, but I would love to unearth some gray feelings about the issue.

I must admit that of the unfriendly events in my life events that happened to me in life, and which led to supposedly dangerous enmities, were due solely and explicitly to my simplistic and innocent view of the world.

We are all bad and good, sometimes more good than bad and other times chaotically bad.

Yes, I admit that I have a small list of people who don't like me, but I solemnly swear that I didn't do much to deserve it,or maybeI did, at least that's what my mind has convinced me, and pretend to be thoughtful when someone He wants to dismember you alive for his own glory only leads you to the imperative path of developing a survival personality as the only weapon of war capable of dignifying your den of peace in the face of any circumstance.

Learn to be a rival.

Having enemies is an extremely good circumstance.

Before I was afraid in some environments, especially at work, because that is where I have experienced the most controversial situations and several uncomfortable frictions have occurred, which has forced me to "stand on tiptoe" to be at the height of the discussions about a staff of classifications and probabilities.

My professional development benefited a lot from the oppositions of theories and concepts of others, that changed the rules of the game, because I started to gain a space called respect within my supposed enemies.

If we were so equal we would be boring.

Nor will I ever underestimate an enemy, because I know very well that they are intelligent, and that mutual respect fosters unity, but such unity will never exist due to a problem of trust, so thanks to them I have overcome the innocence in my thinking. and awareness of the temperamental and behavioral variability of individuals.

It's good to have distrust.

I am white with Spanish and African origins, I am temperamental and explosive, but thanks to willing observation of alleged enemies I have learned to stop the difficult and bad habit of speaking without first stopping to think about the possible impact of my words.

I have learned to moderate myself and be more reflective.

You learn to agree with an enemy, not to relieve tensions but because you have to be objective and sincere, deception and lies will only distort the image that others have towards you, and then you will gain credibility in the eyes of your enemy's enemies and greater dignity before your own friends.

You will constantly be immense in your improvement as a human being, thanks to your enemy.

So, it's not about literally complimenting our enemies, because it's not a problem of feelings, it's about understanding how to deal positively with that negative space in our lives, so that it doesn't drag you into a constant spiral of insecurities. and cowardly reproaches that turn your life into the soft and clumsy worm that you see from the other place.

Finally, the nicest things you could say to your enemy is simply to thank them for helping you rebuild yourself in every challenge and in every circumstance of life.
It doesn't matter if it is a blackmailer, a professional rival, a government, or someone who distorts society, it will always force you in each case to explore the thousands of ways to overcome it through your personal growth.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I want to share with you this wonderful song

Thank you very much for reading

Sort:

I was pleased to see that we chose the same theme to develop the dynamics. Even more so to read that your point of view about the enemies we inevitably meet on the road of life, does not differ much from mine.

I think that spending more time than necessary to keep enemies away is wasting opportunities for self-improvement, family and true friendships.

Excellent your reflection, a pleasure to read it, in spite of what you already know.😉😂😂😂. 🌻

I admit that this weekend the themes have left me a bit in shock, wtf, I don't know how to paint and now what do I say!
But when I saw your post I invariably understood that it was this way, you inspired me and convinced me... hahaha....

Sometimes DeepTranslate takes me tense and I change it for Google Translate which is more noble, try it!

Keep trying my friend @leopard0

Nice Sunday for the family.

Well said, and put together. It's posts like this I have in mind when I write topics for people to respond to. ✅

I must thank you very much, not as an enemy of course, for the possibility of exploring and deepening on many topics that I had never stopped to think about so thoroughly.
In fact, I hesitate a lot on how to do it, but if I base myself on what I have lived and felt, it makes it easier to do it, isn't it?

Thank you for your kind words.

You have done a good job and deserve the accolades, all I did was write a topic.

Still I appreciate reading you, because you are a very wise person.

Our enemies can also sometimes be the ones who help us become the better versions of us.

If we become aware of that, it will be so.
Observe the intentions of others and you will see that there is no better way to avoid problems if you do not try to be better every day.
Be virtuous and cautious and few will be able to hurt you.
