I've been getting a lot more invested in dCity recently, even more so than Splinterlands. This game is oddly very addicting and has me constantly checking my city to see if anything changes; whether it be a random event taking place or a new citizen pops up.
I thought to myself, since I'm a new player, that my city was kinda small and that there was plenty of room for growth. So I poured another $20 worth into the game, this time with more knowledge on what cards I should look out for and what to get. I felt I'd put myself up to the challenge of doubling my income by best utilizing these $20. This is my city before I bought the new cards.
What I first did was buy a few second edition cards, 4 to exact. Remember that you should always buy new cards with SIM right now, as you get almost double the value from converting SWAP.HIVE to SIM.
I then proceeded to buy 13 third edition cards. This came out to be 10,400 SIM and pretty much dried up all of my supply. But man, was it worth it!
Here are the cards I received:
Almost every card I got in that batch will be very useful to me, with decent income and low workers required. I then spent about the rest of my budget on 'Basic Home' cards to equal out my population. The highlight of my pulls, though, are definitely the two 'Parking' cards. At the time of pulling these, I could sell a single 'Parking' card for 6,500 SIM. If I sold both of these, I could've made back 13,000 SIM; or rather nearly what I spent on ALL of the cards. Here is what my city's stats looked like after I picked up these cards:
Either way, I only ended up selling one and used that SIM to buy another 7 cards. This time 1 from the second edition and 6 from the third edition. No parking this time lol. Here is my city now after the additional cards:
In the end, I exactly tripled my income, nearly tripled my city's SIM value, and doubled my popularity! A pretty successful haul if I do say so myself!
What do you think of my city so far? Any tips? Let me know!

Very nice! This is exactly the way, sell off cards that look too expensive for their use for you, and buy cards that you need, or randomly draw new ones! Keep up the great work!
