PeakD Upgrade Includes AI Image Generation, InLeo Shorts and much more
Goood Day InLeo today's article I am going to use a bit more colloquial language and be a little more unprofessional as my articles are some how being triggered as Artificial Intelligence (AI) so spelling errors in this article will be done on purpose because whatever system that is being used to check articles is not working all to well.
The Hive Blockchain continues to be one of the most decentralised Web 3.0 networks enabling users to earn by creating content. There are many Decentralized Applications (DApps) that have been created to enable people to engage with the front end and none more so successful than @peakd and their latest update continues to build on their success and cross community supports.
So let's check out some of the wonderful updates that will help you earn in the decentralised world.
SNAPS, Threads, Waves and Moments
The latest update has seen the development of a Snaps button on the top of the UI which is also the launch of PeakD's version of InLeo's Threads. This feature allows users to create and interact with short form content directly on PEAKD. While it bears similarities to InLeo Threads, SNAP is tailored for PEAKD’s user base offering another opportunity for microblogging.
SNAP posts are integrated seamlessly into the PEAKD ecosystem allowing users to react, comment and curate shorter posts with the same ease as long form content. It encourages more frequent posting, lowers the barrier for participation and adds a lively, real time element to the platform.
We all know InLeo Threads which was developed by the InLeo team and now PeakD brings microblogging functionality to Hive via their UI. Threads are short form posts like X enabling users to share quick updates, thoughts or links without committing to long form content. Users have long been seeking this update and now PeakD delivers.
This feature is perfect for users who want to stay active on Hive without the time investment of crafting detailed blog posts. From quick announcements to meme sharing and everything in between, Threads ensures Hive stays buzzing with activity.
Waves Comes to PeakD
@ecency also launched their Waves a short form blogging method on the Ecency UI which has been just as popular as Threads which we can now see has been implemented in the PeakD UI. Waves was designed to promote community engagement by enabling Ecency users to engage in short form content development. Waves visualize user activity on a community or topic creating a dynamic representation of where conversations are happening.
Think of it as a pulse for the Hive ecosystem where users can easily identify trending topics and participate in conversations gaining traction. This is supported by the inclusion of Decks where you can have multiple different things on your home screen to help you remain connected to all of Hive's assets.
For content creators, Waves offer insights into community interests by helping tailor content to match the latest trends. It’s been a game changer for Hive communities looking to grow engagement.
AI Image Generation
One of the most exciting updates to PeakD is the introduction of an AI Image Generator. This tool allows users to create custom images using word prompts and unlocking new creative possibilities for content creation or images in your articles as well as on the spot memes.
The AI Image Generator is particularly valuable for bloggers and community managers who want visually engaging posts but lack design skills. Whether crafting original artwork, generating memes or adding flair to a blog post. This tool is simple to use and integrated directly into the PEAKD interface.
The service does cost a small amount of HBD but is really affordable in comparision with Web 2 offers and is accessible via the pen icon that you would typically us to create a blog article.
Everything in the one place
The addition of InLeo Threads, Waves, SNAP and the AI Image Generator shows PeakD’s commitment to staying competitive in the fast evolving Web3 landscape especially on the Hive Blockchain where more and more developers continue to join the network.
It also enables users an enhanced engagement with Threads, SNAP and Waves all in the same place ensuring users can stay across all their content and communities and encouraging users to return frequently and participate more.
Features like Threads and SNAP make it easier for new users to join and contribute without needing to dive into the skill of Hive’s long form blogging culture and can pic\k up followers and be noticed a lot sooner.
The AI Image Generator decentralises the design and picture industry enabling users to enhance their content without additional tools or skills or having to pay big dollars for costly subscriptions or licencing fees.
PeakD continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in decentralized content platforms. By integrating features like InLeo Threads, Waves, SNAP and the AI Image Generator, PeakD is not just keeping pace with modern social platforms it’s setting the standard for the next generation of Web3 tools.
Doesn't matter if you have been a long time Hive user or someone exploring the blockchain for the first time, now is the perfect time to dive into PeakD and experience these innovations firsthand.
The platform isn’t just about earning cryptocurrency, it’s about building community, enabling creativity and embracing the future of decentralized social interaction.

Posted Using InLeo Alpha
I love that Peakd want's to be a cross-platform project connecting various Hive nooks and offering a smooth and user friendly experience.
Sadly, not everyone shares this approach. Threads and thread replies from Peakd are censored on the platform level on inleo, they don't appear there. Peakd shows a warning at least.
Ah ok, didn't know that thanks for the heads up
This new PeakD update was pretty dope indeed! I haven't played around with the AI image thing yet but will give it a whirl at some point! They really are the best front end!
I think there are some cross over issues in relation to how they connect and what they show.
